Luxury House With Large Communal Pool, Close to Marina and Beaches

Ideally placed on a complex just 75 yards from the pedestrianised cliff top promenade, in a quiet residential area within comfortable walking distance to Playa Blanca's beaches, marina and nightlife, a 2 storey luxury end of terrace duplex town house completed early 2006. With a bedroom and bathroom on each level, the property is furnished and equipped to make you feel at home. Wi Fi throughout. Bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes (with lots of hangers), whilst the kitchen has everything you need including dishwasher, microwave, oven, grill, toaster, kettle etc. To the front, there is a part shaded terrace & balcony overlooking the large communal pool with views to the sea. There is an additional balcony & enclosed solana area that has a washing machine and drying space. Sunbeds and terrace furniture are provided as is a portable heater, large fan and a safe for peace of mind. An excellent supermarket/cafe/car hire/taxi rank and impressive hotels are all just a 5 minute stroll away. End of terrace large plot with open aspect to a car space to the rear, affords guests much more space and privacy than other properties on the estate.

Thank you to Gary for letting us stay in his lovely house in Lanzarote. We found it well equipped and comfortable for 4 people, and the quiet and beautiful development was a great base, with easy access to the town, marina and several beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed our meal at Buenos Aires, as well as visiting Playa Mujeres and Playa Dorada and the further drive to Hervideros and El Golfo. Aqualava was good for young children, while our surfing lessons at Famara Beach and day trip to Jameos del Agua were definite highlights. Some of the neighbours were also lovely and very welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great holiday and would happily return.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We genuinely appreciate all feedback, whether positive or constructive. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the bedding during your recent stay. We take great pride in ensuring that our accommodation is of the highest standard, including the bedding. We regularly inspect and maintain our bedding to ensure that it meets our guests' expectations for cleanliness and comfort. This is the first time that we have ever had a complaint of this nature, but rest assured I have asked our housekeeper to look in to this. Our reviews in general and in particular with regards to housekeeping have always been very positive, as franked by the fact that the last review was kindly titled "spotless". Should you decide to stay with us again in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me direct or contact the housekeeper, using the numbers we provided for you before your trip, so that any problems can be cleared up for you immediately. Thank you once again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Beautiful house in great location!

We had a great stay at Gary‘s beautiful house. Pool was perfect for swimming, shops and coastal walk nearby, and we enjoyed walking to the harbour and nice restaurants in beautiful atmosphere. Thanks again for your kind hospitality, Gary!

Great location/complex

Well equipped house. Milk bread & water very welcome given a late arrival. Excellent communication from owner. The soft furnishings/bedding would benefit from refreshing. Easy walk to a great choice of restaurants to suit all budgets. All in all a very relaxing week in a quiet complex.

Thank you for the review. We continually refresh the soft furnishings, bedding, towels and shower curtains etc. and so are surprised to hear you were not entirely satisfied. If you had contacted me whilst you were at the house, I would have asked the housekeeper to look in to this straight away. This is the first time anybody has mentioned such an issue. As other reviews demonstrate our housekeeping is generally commended, but rest assured we will take your comments on board and look in to this further.

Lovely Home

Lovely home, exactly as described in a quiet small complex. The home and the complex are spotless. Each home has its own numbered sunbeds so no towels at dawn dramas. Supermarket 2 mins away. 10 minute walk to the harbour area via a lovely coastal path, with a vast array of restaurants, some bars and some bespoke shops. Market there every Sat and Wed. A beach with sunbeds/umbrellas, beach bar and watersports apx 25 mins walk. Town centre 40 min walk. Would recommend and stay again which says it all. Thank you for the welcome pack too!

All round first class

We stayed here for twelve weeks , the house is in an excellent location just ten minutes walk from the marina which has a variety of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. Also five minutes away is a supermarket for all needs, a taxi rank and a bus stop so all eventualities covered. We found the accomodation to be very comfortable , very clean and it has everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We very much appreciated the WI-Fi , DVDs and books provided. The pool area is very well kept and cleaned daily the complex is quiet and the front terrace of the house provides an amazing sun trap from about 10.30am each day until sunset. Having a sea view from the upstairs balcony just has to be a bonus. We had a slight problem with the water heater but after phoning Gary's contact it was replaced within a day such good service which we found to be exemplary . Gary provided very good directions, instructions and his all round enthusiasm for Lanzarote is infectious so much so we will be returning next year.

Well equipped charming house in a superb setting

The apartment, or house really, is extremely comfortable, well equipped and spotless. It's a very short walk to the sea front from where you can walk for miles along a charming esplanade with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes on the way. The owner, Gary, is very helpful with good directions t o find the place and plenty of advice about most things you could wish for. A nice touch was a fridge loaded with basic foodstuffs for us on arrival.

Great place within easy walking distance to the marina

Really lovely house with great views from both of the main balconies. It’s perfect for a family of 4 . Me , my partner and both my children had an amazing 9 days here and felt really comfortable with plenty of space for all to enjoy. A short 10 minutes on foot to the local marina where there’s a real buzzing vibe about it and a English shop that is 100 yards from the house which is great if you’re not feeling the Spanish style shops. The complex that the property sits on is very quiet and very clean and the grounds / pool areas are in impeccable condition. I would definitely say for value for money this place is a 10 out of 10 but if I had to be picky the only few small things I would do to make this property faultless is 1. Main bedroom needs a double bed. 2x singles just doesn’t work. 2. Heated pool would of been nice. Way to cold to use but it is December I suppose. 3. Tv would of been nice to have a few English channels. All the above said I still think this place is fantastic and if I come back here one day then I would be more than happy to stay again. Thanks for having us Gary. Some very happy holiday memories made by the foreman family. Cheers

Home from home

Visit number three to Casa Gary was highly anticipated by all, as having been before, we thought we knew what to expect. However, we were still surprised as we had forgotten just how fantastic it is! From the moment we arrived we felt at home and were straight into holiday mode. We were very fortunate with the weather which was great and we used the pool every day. Cost for food/drink is still very reasonable compared to mainland Spain or the Balearic Islands, and with full kitchen facilities in the house it was nice to have the choice of cooking for ourselves or going out. When you visit somewhere more than twice, there is always a risk that it won’t live up to past experience, but I know that Gary’s home and Playa Blanca will always be somewhere that we will enjoy visiting. This really is a gem and you can be sure that as soon as we are able, we will definitely be back. Many thanks again Gary - this is getting to be a habit!

Thanks ever so much Katie, we are driven to ensure clients have a great time and we are always happy to hear from such reviews confirming that we have got everything right. It's great to hear that the weather was good for you in April. Many people do not realise just what a great climate the island has. We often visit in the winter and are amazed to be on the beech until times when it has long since gone dark at home. I'm glad to say that well over half of our clients are now regulars. Whilst we do our bit, I'm sure that you will agree that the position of the property, the wonderful cliff top walk to the marina/town and the beautiful safe family resort contribute also. I've been besotted by Playa Blanca for over 15 years now, having previously been someone who wouldn't go anywhere twice. The way the resort has developed giving the wide choice of quality restaurants, along with the many options in terms of beeches from commercial to protected, means we will never get bored of returning. I look forward to hearing from you soon, thanks again, Gary

Nice apartment at good location in Playa Blanca

The apartment was at a good location in a quiet block near Papagayo Beach and the marina. Very well maintained and clean. Complete inventory. Nice swimming pool. Fantastic property and location.

We have stayed at Gary's property before and can only say it was better than I remembered it. The house is beautifully presented inside and out, although we ate out in an evening the kitchen was well equipped for those who wished to use it. Gary, as previously, gave us all the information required to make our holiday go smoothly. The pool is now enclosed but it has been done sympathetically and doesn't detract from the lush surrounding of the complex. We loved the walk along the cliff tops on an evening, the areas of Rubicon and Playa Blanca offering a wide range of bars and restaurants. We will certainly be returning. Thanks, Gary.

I'm from the little village of Ripponden in West Yorkshire. I enjoy most sports and although now retired, still manage to take part in football, golf and tennis. I love sharing my extensive knowledge of Lanzarote with clients, to ensure they make the best of their time on this wonderful island. As someone who can turn his hands to a bit of DIY, I have maintained the house to an exceptional standard, as qualified in the kind reviews that past clients have left.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I have owned the property since it was built and picked the area for it's incredible seafront location, so close to the marina that has developed over the years to provide everything you would want in terms of places to eat, drink and shop. With a supermarket just 5 minutes stroll away, my past clients and I really do believe that the house is perfectly situated.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The house is end of terrace (hence semi detached) with a large plot that has been landscaped to provide ample space for guests who might prefer to sunbathe by the house, rather than by the excellent quiet communal pool.
The fact that the house is end terraced (with open aspect to the rear) and has such a large plot affords guests more privacy than can be expected at similar properties on the complex.
