The structure of CASA GINA offers a harmonic reinterpretation of contemporary luxury design where each element is carefully placed in its natural environment. Prestigious and iconic design elements coming from the best of the breed of Italian design manufacturers are mixed together with state of the art of technology standards and surprisingly natural and warm lighting effects to create a special sense of equilibrium and an elegant atmosphere.

The superlative location by the walls of Lucca and by the Lucca train station unveils a unique getaway with easy access to sightseeing both in Lucca and all around Tuscany and Italy including Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Versilia, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Livorno, Pistoia, Siena, Bologna, Venice, Milan and Rome.

You can easily park your car along the street in front of the apartment, or use a free public parking lot that is only 300 meters away.

The perfect stay

We traveled as a family with three children, and our experience could not have been better. From the very first moment, we felt completely at home… or even better than at home. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed no detail was missing, and it was wonderfully equipped (and very clean). We were especially delighted to find Christmas decorations, which made our stay even more special and cozy. Stella was exceptional and incredibly helpful, always attentive and making sure all our requests were taken care of promptly and kindly. Thanks to her, everything was easy and smooth throughout our stay. Without a doubt, we will come back again and will happily recommend Lucca Apartments to anyone looking for a perfect stay.

Gorgeous apartment so close to everything!

We loved everything about the place - it was so clean, great beds, excellent showers and water pressure. Nice kitchen too! And the outside terrace is wonderful. We’d definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Lucca. So close to everything. Right over the wall and all the excellent eateries.

wonderful stay in Lucca. The accommodation was really nice, very clean, spacious, contained everything you might need for a villa stay. Locality although out of the city walls was very handy. Close to the station without being noisy, within easy reach of the city. Would definitely book again and recommend.

Relaxing location close to it all

The property was very clean, comfortable and safe. Lots of room to relax, particularly with the patio. Very close to the train and a short 5 min walk to the city walls. Highly recommend.

Lucca home base

Wonderful stay at Casa Gina. Beautiful apartment, great location outside the wall, train station and highway. A great stay and launch pad to see surrounding areas. Loved the patio. Perfect for a relaxing evening with a glass of wine.

Beautiful property. Though not inside the walls of the historic city, it’s just a short walk. An even shorter walk to the train station. Newly appointed furnishings, outdoor dining, and great location.

Beautiful, modern apartment.

We loved this apartment. It felt brand new, high ceilings, spacious, nicely appointed, lovely outdoor deck and amazing location to the walled city and train. Monica was a great hostess - very helpful with everything and made our stay comfortable and smooth. Ninety minutes from San Gimignano and Cinque Tera by car. I would absolutely stay here again if I am fortunate enough to return to Lucca.

Great location with outdoor space.

This apartment has 2 lovely bedrooms, lounge area and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and the decor is to a high standard. The a/c is American standard good! The outdoor space is large. The location is excellent being very close to the station and the southern entrance to Lucca There is a 3rd sleeping space- this contains 2 single beds but is not actually a “room”- privacy is afforded by a large pair of curtains into the hall. Fine for children but less so for adults. The outdoor area is large but is messy. The sofa cushions are split and tired. With a small amount of effort this area could be stunning.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful apartment for four days. Our stay was perfect and Chiara/ Manuel was very helpful doling our stay. The apartment is beautiful decorated and clean. It got a perfect location with parking spots and is just a 5 min walk from Lucca downtown. The terrace is amazing and got a nice view. Thank you for a great stay! We will differently come back. Excellent place to stay in Lucca

Appartement is even better than in the description. Fully equipped, there is nothing to miss. Appartement looks exactly like on the pictures. A place to feel like home right after your arrival. Just a short walk to Lucca city or the train station. Parking lots always to find close to the appartement. Lucca Appartments as well as the owner very friendly and care in case of any questions.

Casa Gina

Location is fantastic. 3 minutes walking to the train station but no noise from the train; 7 minutes to the San Pietro gate of the wall. 15 minutes to the Esselunga supermarket. The patio is what sells this place for outdoor living. The third bedroom is only closed off by a curtain so ideal for kids but no privacy for adults. Manuel was great and responded promptly to any request we had. We would definitely come back for another visit.

The most beautiful View.

This stay was perfect for us as it was at a great location in Lucca. Also the apartment is super clean, very stylish and it all looks pretty new to me. Manuel was super friendly to arrange a bottle of wine as I asked for it as a surprise for my friends. He also had great advice about what to see and do around Lucca. The apartment had the most beautiful view over the wall of Lucca. Also its easy to walk from the apartment to the center of the city, it is only a 5 minutes walk.

Great house, good position, lovely host

The house is in a good position, as it's immediately outside of the walls, 1 minute from the train station. That is a bit of an issue during the Lucca Comics and Games - due to the amount of people - but all in all is a good spot. We did not meet the house host, however they were lovely and left us sweets for Halloween and a bottle of wine. Greatly recommended! An elevator would be great, but I know it is not possible in such an old building. So nothing to point out :)

Lovely, cosy stay

A special thanks to our host Manuel, from the moment he contacted us long before our arrival he was very helpful and checking to make sure our stay was pleasant throughout. The apartment itself was lovely and a very spacious apartment that’s ideally located for public transport and especially for walking around Lucca and it’s historic walls. The terrace was more than enough for my wife and myself and it would have accompanied a lot more people, unfortunately, the sun was lost behind the apartment about 4pm, but as we spent most of the time travelling around Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Viareggio etc this was not an issue for us. We would 100% recommend this apartment to anyone that is thinking of staying in Lucca for a holiday

Home away from home

From the moment we stepped in, the warm welcome of this place was a great start. Manuel welcomed us as if we were a family, he was friendly, accomodating and kind. The lovely bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Great job! Then as we walked around room by room, the place even looked more beautiful. It's modern with a feel of luxury, clean, updated and comfortable. The house is fully equipped and our most favorite is having breakfast or afternoon quick nap on the patio/balcony. The view from it is is very relaxing and the neighborhood is quiet. We highly recommend Gina Casa and we will def stay here again next year. Look no more. The location is perfect. There are few cafes and bakery around the place. Illy Cafe and IL Pane are our go to with fresh baked bread and pastry. The house is 10 min walk to the walled city and super easy. Just know that part of the walk is this 75 steps stairs that you climb to get to the other side but it wasn't a big deal, it's a great way to get your cardio going before hitting the city. Parking is easily available and white lines spot means free parking. Thank you for sharing your house. We had a great experience and memories made at Gina Casa. Arivederchi!

Above and beyond service, great option for our family

We stayed for 5 nights at Casa Gina with our family of 5 — my husband and me, and 3 teenage daughters. We stayed in lovely hotels in Venice and Padua, and delighted to have this Lucca apartment as our home base for six days of day trips in Tuscany. The apartment was very clean and simply appointed, taking into account the needs of intl guests like ourselves (dishwasher, washer dryer, A/C, IKEA kitchen). The best part about our stay here was Monica, our “concierge”, a Lucca native. Monica went above and beyond for us. My husband got unexpectedly sick; she had a trusted doctor come for a house visit within hours. Our girls needed a place to run/train for their high school track team; Monica recommended the Lucca wall but also helped us with access to a local track where they could do their workout. I wasn’t sure if our car was legally parked overnight; Monica went to check on it (it wasn’t! Still learning my Italian parking signs), and then she personally camped out saving a legal spot for me to repark. She also helped us shorten a long list of restaurants and cafes for the ones that would be just right for our teenage daughters. It’s location just outside the wall was worth the more affordable nightly fee vs inside the wall. We could find free parking nearby to then easily use our car rental for day trips to Cinque Terre, a day hike in the nearby mountains, and a cooking class at a winery deep in the countryside. Recommend.

Exceeded All Expectations

An amazing month at Casa Gina, exceeded all expectations. What a perfect location, literally 2 mins from the train station. A 7 minute walk to inside the walls where there were so many shops, restaurants, and activities and markets in the many piazzas throughout the town. After a days outing we returned to Casa Gina our home away from home. Upon arrival it was spotlessly clean - after 2 weeks we asked for a light house cleaning which was done one day when we were out. Upon return, we found the entire apartment completely cleaned as it was when we first arrived. All for only 50 euro wow! The owner came one day and completely refreshed the balcony. Thorough cleaning, changed all the potted plants, put up new shade on the pergola and replaced all the curtains. He needs to update the pictures in the listing as it is now so much nicer (which was great looking to begin with). Being so close to the trains it made day trips so easy - we went to Florence, Pisa, Viareggio, Cinque Terre, Montecatini (go an take the funicular to the mountain top, have lunch and walk the hill town), and Pistoia (go on Wednesday for market day it's amazing). The property managers Manual and Chiara were so friendly and easy to deal with, they responded so quickly to any questions we had. The owner lives on the ground floor, and while he doesn't speak English we did "converse" a few times and with a little help from Google Translate we understood each other. I HIGHLY recommend Casa Gina.

This place is unreal!!!!

This place is unreal!!!! Disclaimer- it is not inside the walls of Lucca BUT it doesn’t matter. It’s a quick 5 min walk and there’s something magical about walking through the walls every single day. The apartment is impeccable. The decor is so cute and modern. It’s spacious and just so lovely. And Manuel met us to let us in, give us the tour and recommended one of the best dinners we’ve had on our trip. It’s also a 3 minute walk to the bus station (which you don’t hear at all). The location is convenient and it is everything you want it to be. Don’t miss the coffee/deli a couple minutes walk too! Go opposite the direction of the stairs a blocktwo down. Rent this place! You won’t regret it
