Chalet Bergrose 4 is a 2-bedroom holiday apartment new to the rental market and centrally located in the family-friendly "car-free" mountain village and ski resort of Wengen. This 2nd-floor apartment has wonderful views of the stunning Lauterbrunnen Valley from its southwest-facing balcony.



Chalet Bergrose is conveniently located about 250 metres (4 - 5 minutes walk) from central Wengen, the train station, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The route is downhill and down some steps. There is also an alternative route to avoid the steps if required. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen station.



The modern open-plan living and dining space, with a natural wood floor and stylish furnishings, gives this a modern Alpine feel. With windows along two sides of the living area, it offers wonderful views of the famous Jungfrau mountain and the stunning Lauterbrunnen valley. The views can also be enjoyed from the southwest-facing balcony, a perfect spot for relaxing or dining alfresco.



The kitchen is well-equipped for home cooking and entertaining. It includes an electric ceramic hob, fan-assisted oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.



This stylish apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king-size double bed (160 x 200 cm). Bedroom 2 has 2 single/twin beds (90 x 200 cm). There are 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bathtub and 1 with a shower.



There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the shared laundry room in the chalet basement.

What you should know...



Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is straightforward. There is a multi-storey car park (paid) next to Lauterbrunnen train station with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. From there, it is an 11-minute scenic mountain train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes during the day and every 60 minutes from 21:30 until 02:40 AM. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.
