A small, neat, very well-located apartment at the top of an old building in the heart of Bologna's student area. The street outside was very busy in the evenings, with bustling bars and restaurants (and excellent live music on Wednesday night) but, despite the fun happening downstairs, inside the apartment you couldn't hear a thing. The apartment is up three flights of stairs, has a small kitchenette, a terrace (which we couldn't comfortably use during the day as there were builders working on an adjacent roof), a large, comfortable bed, excellent air-con (it was 38 degrees when we stayed so it was essential) and a small bathroom with washing machine. Upsides: location was excellent, building was full of character, air-con was excellent, bed was comfyDownsides: the shower was absolutely terrible - no water pressure at all, so bad it was actually difficult to wash your hair. And there were only two water glasses and two wine glasses, two bowls etc. So you have to wash up immediatley if you want to reuse something - surely the budget could strectch to a few more glasses. All in all, recommended for almost all aspects but do beware the shower. It's shockingly poor.
