The villa is ideally located, well-equipped, clean, and welcoming. The owner/manager (Dionisios) was there to meet us despite a delayed flight and couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. We only needed to contact him once during our stay, and in under a minute (literally), he had someone there to rectify the problem.Bottom line, everything about this villa and Dionisios was perfect - Thank you!

Excellent accommodation

Villa has all you need and is in a perfect location. It is a 20 minute walk to the harbour and restaurants which is very handy.

Stunning property with stunning reviews and the most helpful friendly host a family could hope for!

The host was so welcoming, friendly and helpful it truly made for an unreal holiday!! The property is stunning, modern, clean and perfect for a family who are looking to relax and enjoy the sun in beautiful surroundings. Lovely pool area and the hot tub overlooking the views of the harbour and mountains is breath taking. Can not describe how wonderful enough this place is!! Highly recommend!!

Peaceful, luxurious piece of paradise.

Fabulous view. Lots of open space. Quiet. Superb location. All mod cons - lovely pool, loungers, table tennis, TVs and fitness kit. A/C and wifi work superbly. Owner there where you want him but laid back and unobtrusive. Perfect for families ( with teenagers ) and two couples. Loved our time here. Would come back like a shot!

Fantastic!

We were a family of 4 with my son and daughter being young adults and all had an amazing time. The villa and views were fantastic and Dionisios was extremely helpful and organised. We had lovely meals in the village, hired a car and drove to Fiscardo, Assos, Mirtos beach, Sami and Anti sami. We hired a bigger car and wished we had a small car as the roads are bendy and narrow. Would highly recommend

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location

On arrival the villa was spotless and the owner met us to show us around. The villa has everything you need, sitting in the Jacuzzi with a glass of wine in the evening overlooking the harbour is something special. We were overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of all the locals. Agia offers a good range of restaurants with good quality food and friendly service. The villa is perfect for those with teenage children who like a bit independence, as they can be self sufficient on the ground floor. We would certainly look to come back here

Idyllic location with amazing views

We stayed in Horizon II villa in October and would highly recommend it. Dionisios greeted us when we arrived and had already put basic supplies in the fridge along with a bottle of local wine which was a lovely touch. The hillside location has panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and the beautiful bay below. It was less than a 5 minute drive to the restaurants, bars and supermarkets in Agia Effimia and only €6 in a cab. There are great restaurants and bars, we recommend Cactus bar for cocktails and for great food Pergola with its rustic taverna feel and Perasma overlooking the marina and yachts. The heated pool was lovely to swim in and clean and the jacuzzi was a real treat too. The villa was spotless and spacious. Good quality mattresses, 100% cotton towels were provided and even the sun loungers were great quality. The villa is very quiet mainly just the sound of passing goat bells could be heard on the breeze. We would definitely go back!

Horizon Villas 1 & 2

The host was very attentive and quickly responded to any queries. The villa was beautiful with a lovely taverna opposite but the information on the Vrbo website was misleading. Although the villas are almost identical there are some significant differences. Villa 2 does not have the table tennis table or running machine which we had expected it to have. Also in Villa 1 the living space opens onto the same level as the pool which we considered much better than Villa 2 where the living space is not connected to the pool. It also would have been nice to have had a bit more shade around the pool but appreciate this is difficult with the wind.

Everything and More

A fantastic modern property to spend a relaxing holiday, My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the attention to detail for anyone holidaying here was second to none, everything was supplied minus the food and the butler, we recommend this Villa, to any family or couples, it really has everything from Gym to Hot Tub, Car Port, Heated swimming Pool, Table Tennis, Electric Gates, Privacy, 3x HD Flat Screen TV's, 3x Shower Rooms, all towels (New and Fluffy) all cutlery, all crockery, 2x Kitchens and its all new. and the always professional owners Dionisis, was so helpful and always at the end of the phone for any assistance, even offering to collect us and take us back to the Villa whenever needed, truly a master of his trade. Thank You so much Dionisis, for you true unimposing helpfulness and making us truly welcomed, if this is Greek holidaying, then count us in for the future, Kindest Regards, Martin & Teresa.

Overall we enjoyed our stay . Not a great start when you are told the property is confirmed for a week, and you book your flights and later find out you have to leave after 5 nights . I know it wasn't the owners fault but was regrettable . He rectified it with a refund but would have been better not to have happened. The villa was lovely , it was quiet and only a short drive to the local village , plenty of tavernas to choose and a nice harbour . only 10 minutes drive from some amazing beaches . a car is needed as its a steep hill . the view from the villa was jaw dropping. but it did get quite windy in the afternoon as its exposed in the valley. The manager was very pleasant and went out of his way to help but we booked the villa because of the pool being heated and the hot tub and had to ask for both to be turned on and the hot tub filled. Thank you for a nice holiday , could have been very nice.

Space, Wonderful Views and Total Relaxation!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful villa for two weeks in July. It is modern, scrupulously clean, comfortable and spacious. Although the villa is one of two, they are excellently designed to offer privacy from one another. There is a balcony or space for every time of day, where you can enjoy shade or sun and always wonderful views. What the pictures cannot convey are the sounds and smells from the natural environment around you - we were delighted every afternoon by the sound of tinkling bells as the goats made their way down the hills surrounding the villa. The pool is a wonderful place to cool down and is large enough to enjoy a good swim. Pool towels are provided. The owner was helpful, friendly and available if you needed anything. Agia Efemia is a lovely little town, with a number of excellent tavernas. One of the best is just across the road from the villa, although sadly only open from mid July until the end of August. If you visit during this time, do try it! The town is very well located to explore the whole of the island. We had a fabulous relaxing holiday in this villa and recommend it very highly. Many thanks and hope to see you again some day.

Fantastic home, amazing service

We had a great stay at Horizon Villa 2. On the hill overlooking Agia Efimia and a wonderful view of the sea. You need a car to get to Agia to sample the restaurants as its a few minutes drive otherwise it's a steep 20-25m descent/ascent which may help burn off some of the calories. Location is fantastic, easy access to Assos, Myrtos Beach and Fiscardo to the north, Sami and Antisamos Beach and about 50 mins from Argostoli and the airport. We would recommend Spiros and To Perasma restaurants in Agia. There is also a great bar next do Spiros. Sami supermarkets are better for fruit and veg and it has a great beach at Antisamos. As a tip - order the house wine in the restaurants - it's better than the other wines. The house is lovely and the photos don't do it justice. There are 2 houses (almost mirror images) but both very private from each other with their own pools and hot tubs. The only thing to be aware of is that in Villa 2 one bedroom is on the ground floor (with access to the pool) and the other is on the top floor with the living/dining room/kitchen in-between. This may be a consideration for families with small children. However, there is a put-up bed which we used in our main bedroom for our little boy. Not ideal but the bedrooms have plenty of space. As for the owner, Dionisios...he couldn't be more helpful. He's on site every day to ensure the pool is clean, the garden is tended to (of which he's very proud) and that the necessary sundries (toilet rolls, towels, dishwasher tabs, washing machine tabs etc.) are well stocked. During our 2 week stay the house was cleaned twice as were the linens and towels replaced. We would recommend the villa not just for its location and easy access to a very lovely island full of friendly people but also for its quality and for the wonderful service that Dionisios and Mirka provide.

Perfect in every way

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous house. The owners were a pleasure to deal with from booking to leaving. On hand if you require any additional help or advice. This property is in a lovely location in the countryside but only a short 20 min walk down to the village for dinner and ice creams which are recommended too. Taxi back for around €5. House and pool was regularly cleaned during our stay. Air con is modern, brilliant and quiet. Bathroom on every floor. Beds very comfy with fantastic view from the bed in our room in the morning to the harbour. Plenty of room for the 4 adults in our party. I do recommend a car to enable you to visit the other beautiful places on this fantastic island but agia efymia is the best location. Dionisios and Mirka thank you so much for a lovely holiday and we would definitely return when we come back.
