My sister and I spent eight nights at the property, and it was amazing! Great location for a first visit to Florence since it is so close to so many historic sites. Our hosts were so responsive and helpful, with recommendations for restaurants and other tips. The flat was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It is a trip we will never forget!

Center of Florence

Being able to walk around Florence and stop in for a quick AC break was a life saver. The apartment has all the amenities. We made some breakfasts and a few other meals. The Medici museum right across the street is a must! The recommendations for dinner and aperatitivo were perfect!

A Great Stay

The apartment was spacious, clean and had all of the amenities. It was a three minute walk to the Duomo and all of the other sitters were within a short walking distance.

Perfect apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. The location was close to the train station and all the major sites, the place was spacious for the 5 of us, and the host and property manager were very nice and accommodating. The communication was excellent. They even let us check in early and Francesca thoroughly explained everything to us. Overall, a perfect stay and would highly recommend!

Nice place

Mariangela & Sara were great. The place is well located close to the train station & close to the duomo, central mecardo & lots of restaurants & shops. To no fault of their own the A/C could not keep up with the heat that made the stay a little uncomfortable but overall very pleasant.

My boyfriend and I stayed last week for three days in the purple suite. Mariangela and her colleague Camila were really nice and helped us with all info we required. The apartment was 100% like the photos, comfortable, also well located, convenient to go to all touristic places. Florence amazing! Pleasant holidays

Fantastic stay in Blue Sky Suite!

We truly enjoyed our stay in the Blue Sky Suite. Mariangela was quick to respond to all of our inquiries prior to and during our stay. The apartment is well-maintained, clean, and central to all attractions in Florence. All of the little touches in decor made the apartment really feel like our home away from home. Wonderful apartment in a great location

We absolutely loved our stay in the Purple Apartment. Mariangela was brilliant, she met us at the apartment and showed us around, leaving us with plenty information about the flat and the surrounding area. It really made us feel so at home. The apartment was exactly what we needed, perfect location (only 2 minutes from the Duomo and 5 minutes from the station). We'd absolutely recommend and would definitely stay here again if we return to Florence!

Excellent. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Purple Suite during our April 2016 honeymoon. Of the 5 apartments we rented, this was the nicest and cleanest. The apartment is modern and well equipped. The location was extremely convenient. Mariangela was kind and easy to deal with. My husband and I want to return to Florence and would love to stay at the Purple Suite again.

San Lorenzo modern

This spacious studio comfortably housed my teenage daughter and husband and me last week as we wound down our wonderful Italian journey. The location was very convenient to important Fierenze sites as well as the train station. The hustle and bustle of the streets below were quieted when we closed the windows, so it was a real refuge after long hot treks out in the city. The place was immaculate and Mariangela is a real gem. She made us comfortable and took care to ensure our every need.

Amazing Apartment with great location!!

I stayed in the purple apartment and it was fabulous. High ceilings, clean, updated appliances and all the amenities that you need. Mariangela was great to work with and answered any questions very promptly. The apartment is right in the center of Florence. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the train station. Great places to eat and sights to see right out the front door. I would highly recommend staying here and if given the chance to come back I will definitely be staying here again.

EXCELLENT

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Florence. It was cute, clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The location is close to the downtown area as well as the train yet quiet. Mariangela was very accommodating, kind and professional. She showed us how to use the devices in the apartment and talked to us about some of the sites in Florence. In our 18 day journey in Europe, this was our favorite place we stayed. A+ perfect, highly recommend.

Lovely stay

My husband and I are travelling with our girls for our 20th anniversary. The host was lovely from start to finish. Very accommodating with excellent communication throughout. She left us a lovely anniversary welcome and was able to arrange a later checkout for us so we could squeeze in a museum visit in the morning without having to figure out how to store our luggage. The apartment was in a central location, very clean, and in the middle of this heat wave, the excellent air conditioning in the unit was a huge plus. The bed and pull out sofa were very comfortable and we all slept very well. Would definitely book again the next time we come to Florence.

Great spot for a family

We had an excellent time in Florence and this property was perfect for my family of 5. They accommodated us with a pack n play for our 18 month old as well as a cot and pull out sofa. We had plenty of space. We came in by train and it was a quick walk from the train station but also very easy to get main areas like the Duomo. The food around the property was actually the best we had during our stay. We loved having a kitchen and washer/dryer. The host communicated quickly and frequently with us. She checked on us through our stay with email and was so kind. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Florence.

Wonderful vist and amazing owner

Our 2 weeks in the purple suite were ideal. Great location close to all of the major sights and less than 10 minutes to train station. The owner, Mariangela, is the most helpful person we have dealt with. Was there to meet our cab on arrival, arranged one for our departure, and checked in several times to ensure everything was OK. Between her and the beauty that is Tuscany, we had a lovely trip. And the bed was so comfortable! The News Cafe is right below and has great cappuccino and croissants. Many good restaurants within 2 blocks and San Lorenzo Market and Mercato Centrale starts two blocks away. Would recommend this location to all who like to be in the midst of an exciting city. Fabulous apartment for small family!

We stayed in the purple apartment and it was just perfect for us. Mariangela was able to provide us with all we needed for our 18 month old, it really made things easy (kids dishes, highchair, porta crib). We loved how we were right in the centro of Firenze, it was wonderful. We also had all we needed to cook a simple meal when we felt like it. The apartment is well appointed and very clean. It's great to stay somewhere that looks like the pictures and not worn and old when you see it in person. Mariangela was great and answered any questions we had prior to our arrival. Upon arrival she also booked us our taxi to the airport which was very helpful! We would definitely stay here again, just need to save up for our next trip!

Nice and clean apartment in historic part of Florance

We enjoyed the apartment. It's close to most of tourist attractions of florance and also plenty of restaurants and shops are steps away. The building itself is an older historic building but the unit is newly updated and fully equipped. The reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because this a loft and not an apartment as advertised. The bedroom is not separate as advertised. Also there is no elevator in the building so if you have lots of luggage be prepared for a good hike carrying them upstairs.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!!

OK! I cannot say enough great things about the apartment. Let me start by saying the location could not have been better! Mariangela met my husband, 2 daughters (17 & 15), my mother and myself upon arrival into Florence. We stayed in the apartment for 4 nights. The 3 beds as well as the sofa bed were extremely comfortable. We loved the apartment the second we walked in. It is bright, open, high ceilings….adorable!!! We walked everywhere seeing all of the major sights and the apartment is about a 5 minute walk from the train station. The open market, major sights and great shops are just down the street. We would definitely stay in the apartment again. Absolutely no complaints! A REAL GEM! Thanks Mariangela!!!!

Nicely appointed studio in good location

The purple suite is a nicely appointed studio apartment located in a bustling neighborhood close to many Florence attractions such as the beautiful Duomo and the Medici chapels. It is also in walking distance of the train station which was very handy for our travels. There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and shops nearby. The building is charming and old, with many steps to the apartment on the second floor. One thing to note is that this is a studio -- one big room separated by an attractive purple divider. There is a king sized bed behind the divider and a pull out couch in the main living space that also holds a kitchen wall and glass table for seating. We were a party of five so an additional cot was supplied. There is one bathroom which is quite modern and clean with good water pressure and heat. We received a warm welcome when we arrived and Mariangela is responsive to emails. I think this apartment is ideal for a couple or a family with one or possibly two young children.

great apartment

Location, location, location. This completely updated apartment is a short walk from the train station even with luggage and everything else you want to see in Florence. It is also convenient to catch various buses at the Train station to other parts of the city like we did to Piazzale Michelangelo and Boboli gardens. Apartment is just as it looks in all the photos, modern and spacious with great natural light. Best of all, it is just around the corner from the famous Mercato Centrale, which has everything you could possibly want fresh to cook in your fully equipped kitchen plus plenty of food already made to either be consumed there or bring home with you for later. There is also a smaller Conad nearby for when the Mercato Centrale is closed. Being so near Mercato Centrale is a huge plus. Don't miss it! Apartment is in a busy, touristy area so if solace and quiet is what you seek then this place is not for you, (although it was surprisingly quiet in the apartment with the windows closed) but if you want to walk just minutes to the Duomo and the other main attractions this apartment is perfect. The host is gracious and friendly. To get away from the crowds head towards Piazza Santa Maria Novella and it's a short walk to the Arno river at Ponte Alla Carraia, a great spot to watch the sunset on Ponte Vecchio. Across Ponte Alla Carraia, look for Trattoria Angiolino recommended in the apartment guest book and a fantastic authentic Tuscan dining experience. Plan to spend a couple of hours and tell Alessandro Judi sent you! Thank you Mariangela! It was a pleasure to stay here.
