This was my first time visiting the beautiful town of Cayucos even though I was raised on the central coast. The location of this property was perfect. It was about1 block away from the beach and close to the shops, pier , play ground and restaurants! The house was set up nicely and had everythng you needed. We were able to explore Morrow Bay as well. Spent time in San Luis Obispo and Avila Beach!! The host was very responsive with any questions me had. 5 star review!

Cute Lil Beach Getaway

Loved our stay at this quaint beach house! Walking distance to the beach and various shops. It has a fully stocked kitchen which was a huge plus for our group. It did feel a little dusty and many people in my group had horrible allergies during my stay though.

Wonderful stay, had everything!! Kitchen amazingly well equipped, comfy beds, bathrooms clean and functional. Every board game imaginable and a whole selection of dvds!!!

Great Family Retreat

Condo was spacious, clean with well equipped kitchen and comfy furniture. Perfect location, a short walk to town with restaurants, shops, the pier and beach access. 2 car garage, easy check in and check out a plus. Our second stay, can’t wait to return.

Great location in Cayucos!

Although the condo is a bit dated, the location makes up for the dated property. The kitchen is well equiped to cook up family meals and the living space is comfortable to play games, watch sports or read books. We wouldstay here again.

Location, Location, Location!!

This spacious condo was perfect for a family beach getaway. Very clean, extremely well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture. Two car garage was a plus. Location was short walk to great restaurants, shops, beach access and the pier. We’re repeat guests, and look forward to future visits.

Perfect Beach Retreat

The unit was clean, spacious and comfortable. Convenient location, easy walks to shops, restaurants and the pier. Great to have two car garage. Easy check in and check out. Very quiet and safe neighborhood.

We enjoyed being able to walk to downtown. Access to beach was good. Living room furniture needs replacing and consideration should be given to replacing the master bedroom mattress and linens.

Fabulous!!!

Golden Sands was a perfect place for our family. Close to the beach, pier, downtown, restaurants and Brown Butter Cookie. Everything we needed was provided. Clean and comfy. We enjoyed ourselves immensly.

Perfect quiet location

We loved being two blocks from the beach and 2 short blocks to the downtown area. Even though the condo is located on Ocean Blvd it is very quiet. It was spotlessly clean. We would have liked some cleaning supplies as we were there two weeks, we purchased some anti-bacteria wipes. There are a handful of good restuarants within walking distance. There were two very nice beach chairs and two small ones. Plenty of linens and beach towels. The pictures and description are accurate. We would have liked an extra house key, only one is provided. We could not get the electric fireplace to work, which was not an issue, we would have only used it one night.

Great trip

Overall this place was great! Super close to the beach access, its not overcrowded, there's a playground nearby and the cutest most amazing coffee shop down town(luna). Positives outweighed the minor issues for sure! I'd stay again They had boogie boards, chairs, beach cart and sand toys provided. The kitchen has everything! (Unless you want plastic for littles to use). The two spaces are small garage spaces. Our mini van barely fit(couldnt open doors) but the problem we didnt expect(I realize most won't have this issue) is that we planned to park our pop up camper. From the pictures, it appears there's plenty of space(a huge reason we chose this property)but what you cant see is the space in front of the home is a shared HOA space with two buildings facing it to make a courtyard space and they have full time occupants . We couldnt fit in the garage. We had to street park and leave trailer attached, this made parking a nightmare due to having a disabled person with us. Overall the place was mostly clean and their cleaning list is short when you leave. There were some ants in the upstairs bathtub, the dishes needed prewashed before using as they weren't properly cleaned before being put away. The dishwasher isnt attached, so it falls forward and prevents the slides from working properly. The outdoor space is all shared HOA property, except for the balcony. I couldnt find sheets for the rollaway beds. So my little shared with us. Overall a great place for the price!

Nice place, convenient to the beach and downtown, yet still quiet. We will be back.

We had a great week stay at this home. Contrary to the pictures available, the fridge has been replaced with a bigger and more modern side by side fridge, with filtered ice and water dispensed from the door, improved bedding and furniture. It is a lovely get away, and we have already re-rented for next year. My negative comment is with Vacasa's communication flow. I got lots of communication with the phone numbers and text numbers they provided, but was repeatedly told that someone locally would contact me about small issues we had, and no one ever did. That was disappointing, and cost them a star. Hopefully the communication throughput from wherever headquarters is, to their local providers, will improve, because for me it was nonexistent.

Great Getaway!

This condominium is in the perfect location! Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Coffee on the deck in the morning and being able to see the ocean was so relaxing! We have stayed in many places throughout Cayucos over the past 40 years and this is one of the best!

Awesome beach location

The unit was comfortable overall. We encountered ants on the kitchen counter and master bath. . The carpet on the stairs and throughout unit need deep cleaning or replacing. Batteries on the remote for televisions needed replacing. The unit overall was clean and beds were comfortable. Would consider staying again.

Location is Key

This is a great beach house. Our family of five stayed for four nights and loved the home. The location is ideal and is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and store. I would definitely stay here again. Only suggestion would be that it’s probably time for a new couch/sofa in the living room.

Perfect Spot!

This is our second Summer staying in this condo. We love the space, the location to the beach and town and how comfortable it is. This condo is outfitted with nearly everything you could need while on vacation. It’s hard to leave, but we look forward to returning next year!
