Wonderful stay! Florence is incredible! The location was perfect and so much so close and easy to navigate. Tremendous charm around the flat! Incredible bakery next door we visited each day! Florence is a great walking city and we walked everywhere! The flat was well equipped and the communication and ease was perfect!!! Great value for such a great stay!!

This apartment was great. It had everything we needed. My 13y old son loved it and thought the layout was super cool. It is a unique apartment in a good location. We walked to a grocery store and to everywhere else. It’s also close to a bus stop which we used few times, as well. I would stay here again.

There are some amazing pros and some serious cons to this property, which is why I give it an average rating: The Good: Renovation. property has been renovated and the decorations and some of the amenities are truly nice. The aesthetic is clear and thoughtful and I think it was a lovely renovation given the space and layout restraints. The Host. Linda, was an absolute angel! In fact, I feel terrible about not giving this property a better rating because of her. She was kind, helpful and very quickly communicative. The Owner. He/she was also very reasonable. We had some significant struggles in this property and he gave us a partial refund to help ameliorate those struggles. Neighborhood. This area was perfect for us. Not too busy with plenty of food and shopping nearby, and blocks away from the Ponte Vecchio Price. Very inexpensive and fair! The Bad: Moisture! Lots of mold and damage. Towels couldn't dry by 24hrs after use. And using the clothes washer was pointless because the clothes couldn't dry. It was so damp. Safety. There are 2 sets of death stairs, plus a couple solitary step level changes. I don't feel there were reasonable efforts for safety made in regards to these. In fact, my mother fell on an almost camouflaged step level change, causing a brain bleed and broken wrist. This location is not safe for very young, elderly or anyone with a disability. Space. This apartment is small and compartmentalized. The photos and design cleverly minimize this.

More mold and moisture damage.
Camouflage death step. You can see how near you must step by it to squeeze between the beds. Tough work at night. We tripped many times.

Lindas’ apt was perfect for two adults. It was centrally located in an adorable neighborhood that was quiet, near the river with tree lined streets and plentiful restaurants, cafes and walking distance to the Pitti Palace and the Ponto Vecchio. It is thankfully out of the old town crowds but just across the bridges to the city center. The host is a dream with rapid response and communication should you need anything or help. It is air conditioned but you may want to close the bathroom window after your shower to keep out the mosies. Small kitchen, shower and a beautiful big tub for two in the bedroom. It fits nicely as a modern oasis in an antique building so you get the best of both worlds. There are stairs to the bedroom and the loft sleeping areas so plan on that. This location was the best for sight seeing then returning home to relax with a glass of Tuscan wine. I recommend it highly!

This apartment is ideally located, across the Arno river from the crowds in a still active neighborhood. Ponte Vecchio is a ten minute stroll. Cross the bridge and dive into the vibrant throngs that fill the streets on Florence. Linda, our host is a generous and kind woman that made us feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend this sweet apartment to any couple looking for a comfortable, quiet place to stay in Florence.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful flat in Florence! The location is fantastic—so close to the city center, making it easy to explore all the main sights. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated.The apartment itself is lovely, very comfortable, and well-maintained. We did encounter a few minor hiccups during our stay, but Linda was incredibly responsive and helpful in resolving them quickly.One suggestion for future guests: it would be great to have clearer instructions on how to use the stove, unlock the door locks, and operate the hot shower. These were a bit different from what we're used to in North America, so a little extra guidance would be really helpful.Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommend this place!

The apartment is in an excellent part of Florence. Quiet but close to everything with nice restaurants near. Even though you enter on the ground floor, there are a lot of steps in the apartment. Just be aware of steps are an issue for you. The air conditioning works very well. We were there when it was very hot but we were cool at night and the beds are very confortable. Lots of plugins everywhere. The apartment is a little damp/musty but that may just be how it is in that area. Linda was awesome to work with and the check in and out process was simple.

Lovely stay in Florence

A quirky but comfortable apartment on the south side of the Arno but near to bridge linking with the central area. A nice area, easy bus from railway station to river bank stop near apartment; excellent air conditioning. Suited us perfectly!

Gem in great location!

Linda's beautiful home has a very authentic and traditional Italian feel, yet with all the modern amenities. It's in a great location just across the river and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. Linda is very responsive and helpful!

Nice quiet place to stay in Florence

The stay was perfect. It was a little farther away from the city center which was nice because it was relaxing, quiet, and felt very safe while still very walkable to everything. The place had everything one would need and plenty of space for an Italian apartment. It was clean and check in and out was seamless. There are stairs up to the bed/bathroom which wasn't a problem for us but just so those who can't do stairs know.

We loved the property and location for our stay in Florence. The air conditioning wasn't working properly, so there were some warmer nights, but Linda kept us aware the whole time and came by to check on us. Enjoyed and would stay again!

Modern and nice

We had a lovely long term stay. The apartment was clean and had everything you could need. The only downsides were the stairs (there are a lot of them), the one bathroom is upstairs, and there aren't many windows. These are minor details and only had an impact on us because we are a little older. Linda was a pleasure to work with and the neighborhood was cute and safe.

Great location!

Excellent location, close to all of the tourist areas, but tucked away where you can get more of a local/authentic experience! Place was very nice, plenty of space and loved having the living room and kitchen!

Linda was so easy to communicate with. Her apartment is just as shown. Very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is convenient for walking. We loved our stay.

Die Unterkunft ist super gestaltet, die Vermieterin hat sich viel Mühe gegeben. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Leider gingen die alten, renovierten Fenster nur in den sehr kleinen Innenhof, sodass nur wenig Tageslicht vorhanden war.

Perfect vacation apartment

The apartment is in a great location. Just perfect for my 2 month stay. Fully furnished and kitted out I could focus on my holiday from day one. Linda, my host, had thought of everything, right down to helping me with suggestions and recommendations on where to go for day trips. I could not have hoped for a better apartment or a better host. grazie mille Linda.

Perfect Apartment in Florence

This spot would be great whether you’re in Florence for a short or a long time. It’s quiet and feels removed from the hustle despite still being very walkable (5 min from Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi). The neighborhood it’s in also has plenty to do. The bed was comfortable and we used the laundry machine and kitchen which was a huge plus to have! We also communicated with Linda about recommendations and things to do in both Florence and the greater Tuscany area, she was great! We would definitely stay here again when we’re back in Firenze!
