Quiet Retreat

Lots of room and yard

We had a good time and great stay! Nice place and very close to everything in town within mile or two . Large living space if you lease more than one unit this one is best to meet up for dinner. Yard is great and lots of birds and trees .Would highly recommend!!

Perfect Location for our Weekend Getaway

This home and it’s location were perfect for our weekend getaway. It’s a very short drive to the shops on Main Street, we visited Luckenbach and had a great day at the Fredericksburg Trade Days. We loved the mornings on the porch drinking our coffee and it was the perfect spot each night enjoying our wine. The check in process was extremely easy. The home was exactly as it was pictured. And the bed in the master, so comfy! We only brought one daughter with us this time. But, this would be the perfect location to rent one of the other units and have more family or friends join next time. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Much thanks, Gordon, Stephanie & Taylor

Weekend Get-Away

Stayed for two nights in early December with my wife. We had a blast in Fredericksburg and the place was centrally located and clean. Owner was very communicative and we'll be back.

Great All the Way Around

Ted was a great host! From my initial conversation with Ted in regards to booking, he was prompt and very accommodating. Ted even checked up on me throughout my stay via text. It was not overbearing, but very welcoming. He assured me multiple times to reach out for anything, big or small. Additionally, he was very understanding about our check out time. If you’re looking for a great property, great location, and awesome host...this is your place!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

My wife Leah and I have fallen in love with Fredericksburg and our Abby's Place! The orginal rock house was built in the 1880s and expanded in 1920s. This is part of a larger complex that was expanded in the 1990s on an acres. Lots of charm and comfort to start with and then we had such fun lovingly furnishing and decorating each of the 5 units with a different theme that seemed fitting. The whole complex has 5 bedrooms (2 kings and 3 queens) with 5 bathrooms and 5 separate living rooms, each with a sofa sleeper. Although this property is adjacent, you will your privacy and quiet. We have listings that allow you to stay in 1 suite or to rent several together for your group to enjoy time together. Look for our other listings! The whole complex sits on an acre with plenty of space to sit outside at night by the fire and gaze at the Texas stars!

Abby’s Place is conveniently located in town near the heart of the shopping but it sits on an entire acre of land with a windmill! We love sitting outside at night around the firepit. We are amazed at how many stars you can see in the sky even though you are in town. The trees provide shade during the day as you play horseshoes or washers outside. Only a block off of Main Street on the east end of town. Short hop to all the great restaurants and shopping.
