Carya Residence with outdoor hot tub on the roof terrace
The 50 sq.m. house is located in the heart of Karoti Village and it was renovated in February 2020. When entering the house you can see the living room, with a 50'' flat-screen TV, a wood stove and a sofa which turns into a double bed. In the fully equipped, open-plan kitchen you can find all the necessary, in order to feel at "home". The dining area, can seats 4-6 people. There is a modern style bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a 32'' flat-screen TV and a big wardrobe. In the bathroom, there is a shower and a washing machine.
In different parts of the house, you can find elements of the traditional stone wall dating back to years ago, when the house was originally built.
Outside the house, where the entrance door is, there is a small, but comfortable, patio where you can find a coffee table with chairs. The staircase leads you to the roof terrace, where you can enjoy the Jacuzzi, and the sun while laying on the sunbeds, but you can also prepare a drink or a light meal on the kitchenette.
*The roof terrace as well as the Jacuzzi, are only for tenants' use. No one else has access there.

Staircase to the roof terrace:
Jacuzzi for 6 people with pergola on the top.
Sunbeds, kitchenette, 2 high chairs, dining table.
You need to leave the car merely 150 m. away from the property, on the main road, and you only need to walk through the traditional village path, in order to reach the house.
There are signs on the way, which drive you to the property.
Please, keep in mind that there are A/C units in the house that you can use for heating or cooling. There is also a wood stove that you can use during the winter, but you should ask the owner upon arrival to provide you with wood at an additional cost.
The area surrounding the house is ideal for walks and bike rides in the countryside, and also affords very easy access to the major sites Crete has to offer ( about 4 km to National Road).

Carya Residence used to be Manoli's grandfather's house, which he renovated, with much love, in order to keep the memories and give it life again. This is the chance for people to live in a traditional village, while enjoying all the comforts a newly renovated and restored house, can offer.
この宿泊施設の特徴
Karoti is a little charming village with approx. 250 inhabitants.
It is located between Chania and Rethymno. The distance to Rethymno is about 16 km and to Chania about 50 km. The long, sandy, Episkopi and Petres beach are only 2,5 km away.
In Karoti village, there are two traditional café or "kafenio" as the locals call them and one tavern. The tavern is not always open, but if you go there in the morning and tell the owner, what time and what you would like to eat, the tavern will prepare everything for you.
Every day a van is selling fresh bread pass the village about 9.30 and 11.00.
A van with vegetables and another van with fresh fish pass the village once a week. Just go on the main village road or ask the locals who know the exact times.
The biggest village of Rethymno – Episkopi - is about 1 km away from the village. It is a nice walk to the village taking the direct road (about 15 min).
You should definitely walk in the streets of the old town Rethymno, where the old houses with the venetian doors and the minarets will take you on a journey through time. A plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops are waiting for you to explore them. At the edge of the old town you can visit Fortezza Castle, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. A stop to the Archeological museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno will complete your visit.
In Chania you can enjoy the local market and various stores for shopping. At the venetian port there is a beautiful Egyptian lighthouse, the Maritime Museum of Crete, the Venetian Shipyards, the Küçük Hasan Mosque and the Chania Sailing Club - Neorio Moro. In the old town you can visit the Catholicon of the Venetian Monastery of St. Francis, also there you will find many restaurants, cafes and bars where you can enjoy the local gastronomy.
