Haus Imperial is Ideally located less than 5 minutes on foot from the Bahnhofstrasse, the village, the train station and the Sunnegga and Gornergrat departure stations as well as the bus for the MatterhornExpress with access to the whole ski area as well as direct access to Cervinia, Italy.

The Studio is large 38m2 with living area with south facing balcony and a kitchen area. There is real wood parquet throughout. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and wash hand basin.

    We loved everything about this studio condo. The location is great, close to the train station yet off the main road. Easy access to lifts and the Gornegrat train. The balcony with a Matterhorn view and one of the few grassy open lots in town in front of it. Smartly equipped with all you need. Luxurious oversized bath towels. GREAT host communication. A good value in a town that can be hard to find one.

    The apartment was clean and comfortable with a good view of the Matterhorn. The host was super helpful with suggestions of hikes and things to do in the area. Super smooth check in and out. Would stay again any time

    Perfectly simple, perfectly beautiful. Nicki's apartment was ideal for me - great location, with lots of hikes right out the front door, along with tons of food and amazing views!

    The apartment is in a fantastic location with excellent views, it has everything you need for a ski holiday for 2.Our host Nicki, super helpful, quick to respond to inquiries. He was also attentive to provide information about possible changes to our departure due to local events - Just fantastic service.We can only highly recommend this apartment for those who want a quiet and comfortable stay in central Zermatt.

    Perfect location

    Effortless check in. Great communication with owner. Perfect location in the center of town. We had great weather and a perfect little view of the Matterhorn from the balcony.

    Excellent unit

    Excellent location....only a few minutes walk to supermarkets, Zermatt train station, Sunnegga funicular, train station to Gornergrat. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Unit was a good size for 2 people. Excellent view. Warm and easily accessible. We will definitely stay here again if it's available.

    Lovely, peaceful stay

    I had a lovely week stay here. Some of my favorite moments were having coffee or wine on the balcony while looking at the Matterhorn - you get a great view here! The location is close to everything and the studio is stocked well. The host was responsive and welcoming. Couldn’t have had a better week - thanks!

    Studio was exactly as described. It was everything we were expecting and more. View from balcony was amazing, and only a five minute walk from train station and grocery.

    The host was very kind and moved us to another apartment as there was a lot of noisy construction next to the apartment booked. She went out of her way to see we were happy and settled.

    Fabulous studio that is centrally located - it takes 3 minutes to walk to the sunnega funicular or to the bus stop to the Matterhorn gondola. Good view of the Matterhorn too! Apartment was very clean and felt like home with the well stocked kitchen with quality wares, spices, etc. Host Nicki is welcoming and an excellent communicator. Look forward to returning.

    Great location!

    Great studio in the heart of Zermatt! Close to the center, train station, grocery, shops and restaurants! Also close to the tram/train/bus stops that take you to the mountains (5-9 minute walk in ski boots). Studio provided everything we needed. Kitchen was well appointed. Perfect for a couple. Nicki’s communication was fantastic! As a newcomer to Zermatt I had a ton of questions and she was very patient and answered everything. Highly recommend this studio and Zermatt! Great ski mountain and town!

    Nicki is a super communicative host. Easy to get to location from train station. Clear instructions for accessing studio apartment. Looks like photos. Basic supplies, you may need to purchase extras during longer stay. Dishwasher not available as listed. Comfy furniture and very quiet at night. Amazing view of Matterhorn! Close to shops, grocery, dining, hiking trails and funicular/gondolas to the mountain. Great value for space and view! Thanks Nicki!

    Great holiday in perfect location

    The apartment is centrally located close to train station, main street and Gonergrat train. There is a great view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. The apartment was perfect for us . Plenty of room for 2 and ideallly located. Comfy beds great shower and all necessary appliances. The weather was great during our stay but had reaked havoc with roads and railway in the 2 weeks before we visited. We really appreciated that Nicki kept us informed and reassured throughout. By the time we arrived all systems were running to schedule. We also appreciated the goodies and bottle of wine on arrival. We had a great holiday and I'm sure we will return hopefully to the same apartment.

    We have been going to Zermatt for over 20 years and have definitely fallen under its spell. The mighty Matterhorn towering above the little village can leave no one indifferent. Our mother bought her first property in 1994. She bought the 2 bedroom Imperial property first in 2001 and then proceeded to renovate it into an apartment: two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, close to the village and everything else. Later she added this studio which is next door with the idea that it would be nice for people to have a nanny or a granny close by, but not necessarily too close.
