Haus Imperial enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of Zermatt, less than a 5-minute walk from Bahnhofstrasse, the village center, the train station, and the departure stations for Sunnegga and Gornergrat. The nearby bus stop provides convenient access to the entire ski area, including direct connections to Cervinia, Italy.

A wide selection of restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops are all within easy walking distance, making it the perfect base for your stay.

Ideal for couples or friends, this comfortable 38 m² studio apartment accommodates 2 guests and features a south-facing balcony with stunning, unobstructed views of the Matterhorn.

The open-plan living space includes a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, kettle, and toaster, along with a dining area and a comfortable living area and sleeping area. Beautiful real wood parquet flooring runs throughout the apartment, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC, and washbasin.

Whether you're visiting for skiing, hiking, or simply to enjoy the charm of Zermatt, this well-located studio offers comfort, convenience, and spectacular mountain views.

This was such a cute place with an excellent location! The studio apartment has everything you need and close to the grocery store.The host is so thoughtful left a bottle of wine and some Matterhorn cookies.We definitely had a great stay in Zermatt!!

Nicki was such a great host - quick to respond and really helpful. The studio was spacious and comfortable with fabulous views of the Matterhorn from the dining table. It had everything you could need, even a welcome bottle of wine and delicious biscuits! Well situated for access to both the Gornergrat railway to the top of the mountain and the main railway station. Walkable in ski boots to the Sunnegga lift. Three supermarkets all close by. All in all, a really lovely stay.

Great place with a helpful host

The apartment was clean and comfortable with a good view of the Matterhorn. The host was super helpful with suggestions of hikes and things to do in the area. Super smooth check in and out. Would stay again any time

Excellent spot in a glorious town!

Perfectly simple, perfectly beautiful. Nicki's apartment was ideal for me - great location, with lots of hikes right out the front door, along with tons of food and amazing views!

Perfect location

Effortless check in. Great communication with owner. Perfect location in the center of town. We had great weather and a perfect little view of the Matterhorn from the balcony.

Lovely, peaceful stay

I had a lovely week stay here. Some of my favorite moments were having coffee or wine on the balcony while looking at the Matterhorn - you get a great view here! The location is close to everything and the studio is stocked well. The host was responsive and welcoming. Couldn’t have had a better week - thanks!

We loved everything about this studio condo. The location is great, close to the train station yet off the main road. Easy access to lifts and the Gornegrat train. The balcony with a Matterhorn view and one of the few grassy open lots in town in front of it. Smartly equipped with all you need. Luxurious oversized bath towels. GREAT host communication. A good value in a town that can be hard to find one.

Super fantastic apartment

The apartment is in a fantastic location with excellent views, it has everything you need for a ski holiday for 2.Our host Nicki, super helpful, quick to respond to inquiries. He was also attentive to provide information about possible changes to our departure due to local events - Just fantastic service.We can only highly recommend this apartment for those who want a quiet and comfortable stay in central Zermatt.

Excellent unit

Excellent location....only a few minutes walk to supermarkets, Zermatt train station, Sunnegga funicular, train station to Gornergrat. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Unit was a good size for 2 people. Excellent view. Warm and easily accessible. We will definitely stay here again if it's available.

Perfect studio

Studio was exactly as described. It was everything we were expecting and more. View from balcony was amazing, and only a five minute walk from train station and grocery.

Nice host

The host was very kind and moved us to another apartment as there was a lot of noisy construction next to the apartment booked. She went out of her way to see we were happy and settled.

This property was set in a great location, less than a 5 min walk from the train station and very close to the town centre but very quiet and serene. Also had an amazing view of the Matterhorn! The apartment was also more spacious than expected. However, the pillows were not comfortable and we had trouble sleeping. The space was generally clean but there was some things left behind from the previous guests (a hat and a used contact case) which was strange. Overall, it was a pretty good home base for our 4 nights in Zermatt!

The property is very homey with an all-you-need kitchen and a comfortable living room. The location is also very good as it is very close to the main station and station for train going up to Gonergrat! The host, Nicki, also communicates efficiently. Response is quick and helpful. However, the cleaning is just fair. We found a cap, a pair of contact lens case and a pair of socks at the home. Not too bad but need some work on cleaning!

Fabulous studio that is centrally located - it takes 3 minutes to walk to the sunnega funicular or to the bus stop to the Matterhorn gondola. Good view of the Matterhorn too! Apartment was very clean and felt like home with the well stocked kitchen with quality wares, spices, etc. Host Nicki is welcoming and an excellent communicator. Look forward to returning.

Our family has been visiting Zermatt for over 20 years and has completely fallen in love with this unique mountain village and its breathtaking Matterhorn views.
Our mother bought her first property here in 1994, followed by the Imperial apartment in 2001, which she renovated into a comfortable home in a prime central location. She later purchased the studio next door, creating the perfect setup for couples, grandparents, a nanny, or friends travelling together who appreciate having their own space nearby.
We are delighted to share our Zermatt home and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
