Nice apartment with garden and lake view in the heart of the old village of Bellagio.



The apartment is located on the ground floor of a house with a private garden furnished with a dining table and deck chairs, where guests can admire the lake and the surrounding mountains. The living area features a sofa, a TV, a dining table and a fully-equipped open kitchen with an oven, a kettle, a juicer and a toaster. The layout is completes by a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bathroom with bathtub, which can also be used as a shower.



*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.



*In the area where the accommodation is located there are no taxis or public transport available for short local transport. It is therefore advisable to reach the destination by car.



Lake Como offers some of the most striking urban, landscape and architectural gems of the entire Italian peninsula. Among these treasures stands Bellagio, "The pearl of the Lario", a village of just over 3000 inhabitants on the northern end of the Larian Triangle, in which the two branches of the Lake are divided.

Among the most fascinating aspects of this village there are undoubtedly its charming villas, famous all over the world for their splendor and their manicured gardens. To mention some of them, Villa Melzi boasts many works of art and 18 km of paths in its garden, and Villa Serbelloni, today a conference center of the Rockefeller Foundation, features a wonderful garden as well. The old town, with its numerous shops located along narrow streets with steps, passages and arcades, is renowned all over the world and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The territory of Bellagio is vast and varied, you can visit the different lake hamlets such as Borgo di Bellagio, Loppia, San Giovanni and Pescallo, up to the top of Monte San Primo, reachable with a dense network of paths and itineraries for lovers of trekking and nature. Finally, Bellagio is well connected by boat to nearby villages such as Varenna, Lenno, Bellano, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Como.



The apartment is a 15-minute walk from Bellagio Station and 1 hour and 20-minute drive from Orio al Serio Airport.

Italian apartment close to everything

Good apartment very close to the popular photo spot in Belaggio. Fairly clean and has most things you need. The outdoor space was great! We loved sitting in the zero gravity chairs at night looking at the stars. One night we watched a distant lightning storm. Very cool experience! We did struggle a bit with the bathtub (no shower curtain, just a tub and a shower head on a hose). The bed was ok, but could use an update. But after a long day of walking you would just pass out anyway. The mini fridge was very cold which was excellent - made for some great chilled water. Overall, the location was awesome - just 30 seconds from the centre. The hosts were responsive and friendly. Definitely check this place out!

Let’s start with the good points. Location was perfect, steps from central Bellagio. Very safe property with enclosed locked security gate, bars and shutters on windows, double doors etc. It was nice to provide use of a washing machine and some kitchen facilities. Gorgeous garden space with friendly neighbours. Beautiful views of the lake from the garden. Unfortunately, this property is infested with woodworm beetles. They are everywhere, all over the walls, the ceilings, the furniture, EVERYWHERE. Surely you are already aware, because your wooden furniture is covered in holes where they have chewed through. Throughout our stay we were shaking them off our towels, bedding, and even on our folded clothes so we decided to keep our clothes within our suitcases all weekend. I find this unacceptable, you must contact pest control. From the photos, I thought the property would have a traditional feeling, but really it is just old, worn and desperately needs updating. Stained toilet and bath tub, uncomfortable bed, basic and depressing. I understand Bellagio can be very expensive but for €200 per night, I would expect higher standards. Very sorry but I wouldn’t return.

Very horrible VRBO experience

Came in Oct 5 at 3 pm for check in. Grazia Pappalardo, host said we cannot come in because the unit is flooded because of plumbing issues. At 3 pm? She just told us , we're going to take you at one of our nearby apartments and took one of my rolling luggage. During that time, I was thinking about safety already. We went to an apt with no. 35 on it. (dont know the street). It's on the fifth floor but anybody can have access to the bathroom outside the room we are in. The next day, I called the no. which I used to communicate with Grazia Pappalardo and she told me I sent you an email. I said where because I communicate through yahoo.com or gmail.com. She said whatsapp. I was not using whatsapp so I have to activate it during that time. She told me that she will remove all our belongings from #35 apt to the original one because she said plumbing issues were fixed already. I said I was not informed at once and told her not to please touch our belongings and I will be back at 2 pm. She said no. I can't find some documents and tried VRBO but they say call again the host. Grazia finally answered and she got so mad and shouting "Stop talking!!" She sent somebody to show where she put the documents. There was no hot water and no answer for our calls. The host is insulting, humiliating and shouting when you need help and panicking. There's an AC but not working. The mattress is 8 inch put in wooden slats with a metal headboard. I can't write everything here but don't even consider!
