Wonderful experience

Great place

Had a great stay at Mandy’s boat house! Very well equipped and Mandy was very responsive to all questions. It is far from Amsterdam centre if you’re planning to spend a lot of time there but very close to Aalsmeer centrum.

A great couple of days.

We had a great couple of days. While the houseboat was very little, we had what we needed. The owners directions were perfect and allowed for easy access.

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay at the water villa. Aalsmeer is a lovely area and the villa was well appointed and very comfortable. As a matter of fact, I think the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in away from home. The host was very responsive to any questions we ha. We would definitely come again!!!

House Boat Vacation

Very peaceful and comfortable, and clean, having a washer and dryer was very convenient, nice little neighborhood to walk to. Amsterdam is a little bit away, so Uber was used quite a lot.

Charming and peaceful

We loved our stay in this water villa. It was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It really made us feel at home and we enjoyed the design of the place which felt like home while we were away from home. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a change of pace. Getting into and out of Amsterdam was easy with Uber.

Aalsmeer Houseboat

We had a comfortable stay at this houseboat. We enjoyed the view from the boat and the neat and tidy space. The space (beds) is comfortable for two adults and two kids. However, we were two adults and two teenagers. The bed in the second room is rather small, so one of our kids slept on the sofa, which worked out for us.

Cozy Water Villa in beautiful Aalsmeer

We were so thankful for the home like hospitality after traveling for a week and a half through hotels. This boat house was the perfect place to recharge before more tourist travel. Although it is pretty far from Amsterdam proper by train and about 20 minutes by ride share, the benefit is that you are in the heart of Aalsmeer a quaint little town with charming shops, restaurants and grocers. We were a party of three and close family so the European coziness did not really bother us. The home had everything we needed to recharge. Also want to mention the family of swans that visited is the evening we were there enjoying our dinner. I don’t know if this is a regular occurrence but it was certainly a sweet addition to our delicious dinner of local meats and cheeses.

Houseboat in Aalsmeer

We had a fabulous time on our trip to The Netherlands! Your houseboat was perfect for the three of us and we so enjoyed dining and sitting in the outside area. We were very centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit…..Amsterdam, Keukenhof, The Hague, Delft, Gouda, and Lisse! Aalsmeer had everything we needed from grocery shopping to dining. We absolutely loved Pasto Vino Italian restaurant…..soooo many selections! Our host Mandy was extremely quick to answer questions and offer assistance. If you are concerned why there are no reviews for this property. It’s because they just purchased it last year and have not had any reviews left up until now. The houseboat had everything we needed for our stay! I give this host 5 stars +++++. We hope to be back!
