Great Girls Weekend Stay

Awesome stay at Casa Kahuna for our girls trip. Plenty of room, clean, had everything we needed to rest and relax both at the house and at the beaches. Close to everything in Rincon. Loved our stay.

Casa Kahuna was Perfect

We had been to Rincon before but this is by far the best place we have stayed. The house is absolutely beautiful and situated perfectly to enjoy the views of the island and ocean from spacious first- and second-floor verandas. The house is well appointed for a beach vacation complete with outdoor shower, and pool Beaches are an easy drive down the hill. Can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing Views!

Casa Kahuna is a beautiful home with incredible views. The beach is so convenient as it was to fantastic restaurants and the venue of the wedding we were attending. I highly recommend this stay and will definitely be returning. Thanks Casa Kahuna!

Rincon Stay

Casa Kahuna did not disappoint. Very lovely home, safe neighborhood, 15 min. walk to beach, restaurants and convenience stores within one block. Down town Rincon 5-10 min by car. Our group consisted of six adults and one toddler. The house was large enough for all, well stocked kitchen, and very private pool and yard. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this House

This is the second time renting Casa Kahuna. It was just as wonderful as the first time!! Property Manager Allison was amazing and so accommodating to our special needs. See you next summer!

Casa Kahuna July 2023

Great place that is 5-10 minutes from downtown Rincon and all the nearby famous beaches, bars and restaurants. Great view from the porches and pool area. Private with all the amenities you would want. One word of caution: the house is set into a hillside, so if you have anyone in your group that has mobility issues beware that there a lot of steps to get from the driveway into the house and then also to the upper floor.

Family Vacation

We stayed 5 days. Plenty of space for the family, the house was clean, had everything we needed and more! The family spent most of the time at the pool and pool deck, the Gym was a plus! beautiful beaches just 5 minutes away and an awesome town nearby. The owners of the house were great! We had car issues during our vacation and she assisted us finding help. THANKS! We will definitely come back!

Nice place

Pros-Nice house and great areas to spread out . You can’t beat the view. Excellent laundry facilities. Comfortable beds. Cons- usually cold to at best barely warm showers at all times. Had a rat come out during day while sitting at pool. Eeeek! Also, need a new coffee machine.

Thank you for your review Trisha. To be more environmentally conscious the homeowners upgraded the electrical panel to solar which was causing the water heater to turn off. This has since been fixed and is working to peak performance. Rincon is considered the country/Jungle which is surrounded by lush vegetation. In this part of the tropical island we do see bugs or rodents outside on occasion. The mouse that was in the bushes has since been caught and there is a new coffee maker for guest use in the kitchen. I would like to add that we made a very large exception in allowing 2 babies and a 5 year old child in a non-child friendly home for the stay along with providing 2 pack and play units. Thank you for covering the damages caused when backing over the driveway lighting and being up front about it. Thank you for the feedback

Great vacation!

This property has outstanding features for a vacation! The view from the porch and balcony is beautiful whether sunny or rainy. The porch furniture is the best ever! The pool is great for a dip morning or afternoon - sun warms the water most of the day. Two TV areas have ample seating and the Roku worked well for watching Netflix. Four bedrooms and three full baths offered each of us privacy. The kitchen was well stocked. An indoor dining table plus another on the outdoor porch meant we could serve meals inside or outside. We loved our stay at Casa Kahuna!

Beautiful property and WOW! What a view!

I was born and raised in P. R. and to be honest, it is difficult to impress me. I was impressed! Also, I am very well aware of how difficult to maintain a home in the tropics. This home was CLEAN and well maintained throughout!! The online pics don't fully capture how beautiful the home is. Very private, surrounded by lush gardens, a pool, and a wonderful view of the sea. The house was beautifully appointed with lovely accessories and decorated with nice touches throughout and very comfortable. It was definitely a luxurious home-away-from-home. We would have loved to stay longer and certainly would love to visit again in the future.

We already booked our return for next year!!

My family had a great time at Casa Kahuna and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rental in the Rincon area! The home is spacious, clean, and very well equipped. We spent a lot of time in the pool which was clean and usually pretty warm depending on the time of day. The landscaping surrounding the pool was beautiful. We lost power due to an island-wide issue during our stay, but luckily the home had a generator that kicked in immediately. One tip - make sure you have a car that can handle a steep incline as the road leading to the house as well as the driveway are on quite a slope! Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!

Lovely house. Great views well equipped. Enough room for everyone to spread out. Close to surfing and town. The Mendittos info book was very helpful. The pool was cold as most of the day it is in the shade if you plan to hang out there

Property was Amazing. Very clean, super spacious, beautiful views and has everything you need. Had a small inconvenience but property manager was on top of things, very attentive. I stayed here with my husband, 4 children ages 5, 7, 11, 19 and my in-laws. Everyone loved the property and enjoyed the pool very much. My stay in Rincon!!!

Are stay in Casa Kahuna was excellent. The house was beautiful, with plenty of rooms and the kitchen was great. Pool was beautiful and just right for us. The overall experience was awesome. The owner was available 24/7 if needed. Thank you for an awesome house to rent for our family vacation. Definitely would do it again. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing house

The house was amazing in every way. Highly recommended for a group of 3 to 4 couples. Wish we would’ve been able to use the jacuzzi but the pool was phenomenal. I would absolutely stay here again if it’s available.

Wonderful property!

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The house is gorgeous! We especially loved the space and comfortable seating on both porches. This home was very clean and provides many additional “small” amenities that aren’t listed. The view is even more spectacular in person then in the pictures. The owners and manager were extremely helpful in assisting us with an issue unrelated to the home itself. They went above and beyond! We can not wait to come back!

Beautiful Property; A few Important Issues

Casa Kahuna is a beautiful property that is well maintained and lives up to most of the social media and rental descriptions. So you’re probably wondering what are issues we’re. *We had no greeting at the property and the location clearly requires better signage, lighting and instructions as there are several properties on the very steep hill and dare I say, the house requires a very careful driver to avoid a serious accident or fall from a precipice *There is no manual to explain the various special systems in the house - including the sound system *The alleged home gym is really a few dumbbells and a mat sitting next to the owners SUV in the garage *Sowaking about the garage, the automatic door stopped working after the first day and the property manager said that it couldn’t be looked at until the following business day - Monday - leaving us nearly three days with an open garage door. Rather than an apology, we were treated to her telling us that the area is safe and we should be fine *While we were told that quiet after dark was important in outdoor areas, the neighboring renters had music blaring well past 1:30am *Speaking of neighbors, each rental house and there are more than four, are only separated by privacy hedges that allow sound to come right in at times making it feel that the neighbors are sitting in your space. In all, the property is as stunning as the pictures and with more proactive property manager, it is 5-star.
