Christmas surf vacation!

We love this house for keeping the family together hanging out, playing games, room to eat together and a great outside pool lounging area. The views and breezes are excellent and it is close to everything. Best house we have found in the Rincón area.

Family Gathering

Great hosts! Great property! Definitely need a car and walk to beach is not optimal for carrying beach bags towels etc, but parking at beach is easy and quick car ride. Thanks for a great time!

Excellent property in Rincón!

We were six adult couples of friends and family. The house is as shown in the listing which excellent kitchen equipment, very nice TVs. The pool has different depth “terraces”, suitable even for toddlers. There was a brief power outage and the emergency generator worked perfectly. Highly recommended property in Rincón.

Rincon beauty!

This home did not disappoint. The property had an infinity pool that perfect for cooling off. The home allowed everyone to have their space and the view was spectacular! Close to lots of fun things to do . We especially loved Crash Boat beach.I can highly recommend this property.

Loved our stay In Rincón

The property was as advertised! Very Clean house with a spectacular view. Great location in Rincón, short drive or walk to anywhere. Dolores, the property manager, was very attentive, had the electricity go out for a short period of time in the area, she came right over to start generator. Both Heather and Dolores made the entire process very easy.

Casa La Tortuga

We had a wonderful week. The house and pool were perfect for our group, the view beautiful and location great. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. We had 6 adults and 3 children who were 4 and under. The drive to the beach was quick and easy; we thought from the description that we could walk with the kids to the beach but that wasn’t really feasible, a minor drawback.

Perfect place for large family

We had a wonderful time. Home was perfect for all, we had 14. The communications prior, during, and after was fabulous. One room had an AC problem but was handled extremely quickly. The beds and furniture were fairly comfortable. Washer and dryer are in working. Overall everything was convenient and in working order.

Family Vacation

The house was perfect size for our family and friends. We had my grandchild so the multi level was great for privacy. The pool was awesome and we used it in the morning and night. The beach is a short walk, there is a steep hill but nothing crazy. The gas station and liquor store is very close and my adult kids took full advantage of that. We love vacationing in the Puntas Sandy Beach neighborhood. We had a faulty air conditioner in one of the rooms and the owner was responsive. We would defiantly come back.

Great Vacation

Casa La Tortuga is located on top of a hill at Bo. Puntas, and the house balconies allow for a spectacular view of the sea shore. The sunrise is simply beautiful not to mention the sunsets. The house is very comfortable, and spacious. The set-up of the house facilitate gatherings while allowing for privacy as well when needed. Having two fully equipped kitchens was very helpful to keep sufficient grocery for eleven of us. The bedrooms are also spacious and the beds are comfortable. The swimming pool was always a desirable attraction to gather, talk, and relax. The beach is at walking distance (10-15 minutes) but keep in mind the return is up hill. Downtown is a ten minutes drive. La Tortuga is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay at. A couple of issues where immediately solved by Dolores, who was always available and willing to help. My friends and I loved our stay. It was a great vacation.

Wonderful choice for families!

We were a group of 8, two families of four with teens. This was a wonderful layout and a great location! Close to Sandy beach, beautiful views. Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely hillside home with an incredible view!

This home did not disappoint! I have been renting homes for many years and this one is by far one of my favorites. Sipping cocktails by the pool and/or on one of the stunning patios while enjoying the amazing view was definitely a highlight. The home was tastefully decorated, modern and clean, everything you need to prepare meals was provided. The couches both inside and out created a comfortable gathering space for a large family. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air-conditioning (a must in Puerto Rico) worked well. The small town of Rincon provided everything we needed, from restaurants to little shops. However, it was about a 5 minute drive into town and a strenuous walk, especially uphill, to and from the beach (not steps away as described). We were not shy in our attempts to discover new beaches and restaurants in the area. There was so much to discover off the beaten path! Especially the roadside stands, which offered delicious fresh food and beverages. Heather the owner and the property manager in Puerto Rico were kind and informative. All in all it was an amazing vacation in a spectacular home. We will definitely be back!

Casa La Tortuga is a Gem!

We have returned to this property for the 3rd time. The location can't be beat, and it's an ideal setup for multiple families. The pool deck is such a great place to hang out and have drinks, or let little ones splash around. The only thing that could be improved is the wifi reception on the first and second floors- it's okay for laptops but pretty much non-existent for phones. The owners could rectify the situation by setting up a mesh network system.

Absolutely Amazing Home to stay at in Rincon!!

The space and layout was perfect for a family gathering! To spend 4 days with 14 people, we had plenty of space to not be in each other's way. We had teenagers, little ones and a bunch of adults - and we had a phenomenal time. The power went out and the owners had an excellent generator that kicked in right away and so our power was out just a few minutes. The owners were very responsive via text and were at the house in less than 5 minutes. The pool was so much fun for all of us. The view, the sunset and sunrise....stunning!! Highly recommend this house!!! I would definitely stay here again. My only recommendation would be to fly into Aguadilla airport b/c I flew into San Juan airport without realizing the distance to the house would take 2.5 hours LOL but it was so so worth it!!

Highly recommend

The views and location are amazing. And for multiple families, the design of the house is perfect. The house is clean, beds are really comfortable, and the pool is hard to ever leave. We stayed for a week and will definitely return to this house! We miss it already!!

The space was good for us to gather in kitchen area and outside and then have our own space to go to for sleeping and showers. Any needs were addressed right away.

Family Getaway

Perfect location and easy access to everything! Beds are very comfortable, AC was the best and having a washer/dryer helped to keep luggage to a minimum. I highly recommend La Tortuga guest house and look forward to returning again and again.

Repeat customers!

This was our second time staying at Casa La Tortuga and we loved it just as much if not more than last year. Best pool ever (especially for kids with 3 levels to splash around in!) and the best balconies with the most amazing views. See you next year!

My best friend Vin and I finished building our house in Rincon in 2005. Vin and I have been friends and surfing buddies since we were 13. Rincon was the perfect place for us to build a home that we could enjoy as a destination to surf and raise our families.
