Fabulous Family Vacation

Beautiful time at this wonderful house with family. Great location, clean house, spectacular pool and very private. Our whole family enjoyed our time at the villa and we definitely will come back again. Memories to last us forever.

Perfect beach location

Had a great stay in Rincon - the location is so great. ALMOST close enough to town for an easy walk but definitely walkable to many locations, including Sea Beach which is a 2 minute walk. The outdoor amenities are great and the kitchen has everything you really need - including a fridge with a robust ice maker. Would love to rent again in the future.

Perfect Location

This home is well suited for a family vacation. There were 8 adults and an infant in our group and the house worked perfectly for us. There are two large dining tables that we all fit at for meals, one inside one outside under a roof. We chose to eat every meal at the outdoor dining table. There are ample hooks in both bathrooms as well as all bedrooms and outside, this is often not the case. The home is stocked with everything needed for a baby. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for 9 people. The location was ideal! We were able to walk to town for the farmers market, art/craft sale, dinner out, etc. There is a nice food truck village just a few houses away and the beach is also just a few houses away. We chose to walk along the beach to the much larger public beach due to having such a large group, but if we were just swimming or only a few of us were going to the beach, the close one was perfect. Many reviewers commented on the neighbor dogs barking. We heard them occasionally, but they were small dogs and not loud. Definitely a non-issue for us. There are many stray cats in the neighborhood, but they seem healthy and most are ear tipped, thus neutered. We enjoyed treating them and petting them. The pool was nice, but we ended up not using it much because the ocean was so beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Family Christmas trip

The house was perfect for our family of six. Easy walk to a beautiful beach and several places for food and drinks. Very relaxing roof deck and pool. Would love to return next year!

Pleasant Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Castle Villa. The home was clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The pool was perfect and clean. The outdoor kitchen with the charcoal grill, counter space, sink, and refrigerator was the perfect set up. The short walk to the beach was convenient which by the way was clean and private. Restaurants, shops, groceries were within a 10 minute walk or two minute drive. Would definitely visit again and highly recommended you do as well. Previous reviews noted issues with barking dogs; we did not experience any issues with barking dogs.

Great Property

This place was awesome!!! We stayed here for a week for a destination wedding and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The owners are a phone call away. If we ever go back to Puerto Rico we stay again.

It’s an amazing house.

This was one of the nicest short-term rental houses we’ve ever stayed in. We loved it. It is organized well, comfortable, is beautiful, has everything you need, and in a great area. There are 6 of us and we fit well in the three bedrooms. The rooftop is breathtaking and very comfortable to spend time on and relax. Even if it rains, you are covered and have plenty of room. The pool is clean and beautiful. The living room is comfortable, there are TVs everywhere and the showers work well. There is A/C in the bedrooms and living room which all work well. Parking is easy, plenty of room for two cars in the gated driveway. The neighborhood feels very safe. I’ve seen the neighbors dogs in other reviews but we barely heard them and when we did, it wasn’t in the morning. There are areas at the end of the block with upscale food trucks and food stalls (They are good but not cheap). The beach at the other end of the block is perfect. Calm water, plenty of room to sit, and so close. There is a grocery store two minutes away along with other bakeries, stores and restaurants. We were there for a week and ventured out quite a bit. Surf lessons in Rincon, Cave kayaking in Utualdo, Bio-luminescent swimming and Kayaking in La Parguera, and walking around the town center in Rincon. The house provided the perfect home base for those activities and a perfect place to relax on quiet days.

Great place

The property was great, really nice, close to the beach, and town. It has everything you need to have a great stay. The property owners have the place well equipped. My family had an awesome time and will be back in the future.

Fun in the Puerto Rican sun.

Our party of 6, 4 adults and 2 older children visited this property for a week. The house and grounds are beautiful and very well appointed with everything we needed. The hosts were available anytime we needed anything and never when we didn't. This is a great location for visiting western Puerto Rico. The beaches in the area are terrific.

Slice of tropical heaven

This place exceeded my expectations. Great location to the beach and places to eat. Grocery store right down the street. We wanted for nothing at this home. The pool perfect temperature surrounded by beautiful plants. Family felt very safe there. Kitchen well supplied and having the grill was a plus. I plan to rebook it when I can. Thanks Zulima!

The best!

This is our second time staying here and it was just as perfect as the first. The house is clean and has everything we needed. The location is our favorite in Rincon with the beautiful sunsets at the little beach down the road and the quick access to town. We loved being able to walk to the bakery and food trucks and relaxing by the pool. Zulima is so helpful and responsive and we will of course be back again!

A perfect getaway

We loved staying at Sand Castle Villa, choosing to return there fir a second visit. The location is very convenient and the property is exceptional. We especially enjoy the variety of spaces, including the covered outdoor kitchen area that seats 8, a lovely pool with attractive lounge chairs, and a rooftop deck. The setting is also very private. The beds and towels are luxurious, the property is very clean and well-cared for, and the appliances (especially the laundry facilities) are excellent. Highly recommended.

Perfect getaway house

We stayed spetember 8th to the 14th. We felt very safe from the hurricane and because the beach was rough a couple days the pool came in very handy. We wanted for nothing. The house made our stay one of the best vacations. Plenty of room and luxurious. We would stay here again for sure. Thank you!

Update: Our home was not damaged by Hurricane Maria. Power and water have been restored. Landscape growing in nicely. We have a generator, large water reserve tank and whole house water filtration system. Prices have been reduced to welcome you back to Puerto Rico!
