Visiting the city of Como and its lake while staying just a few minutes from the famous Cernobbio and enjoying a wonderful view is a dream come true in the beautiful CASA OLIVO! Positioned in a semi-detached house in the quiet Piazza Santo Stefano, a hamlet of Cernobbio where time seems to stand still, this lovely two-bedroom apartment will welcome you with its pastel colors and carefully furnished rooms. The living room consists of a relaxing corner, with a comfortable sofa where you can read a book and rest after a long day of sightseeing and a TV to watch a movie with friends; next to it, the dining area with a table for 4 people. The space you will love the most is the large terrace of 70 sqm, overlooking the lake and furnished with tables and chairs to fully enjoy the view during the summer. The kitchen is separate, modern and complete with appliances and everything you need to prepare lunches and dinners like at home. There are two bedrooms, both doubles and with closets to store your wardrobe even for longer vacations. A bathroom with shower and private washing machine concludes the apartment.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. 

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

CASA OLIVO is located in the village of Piazza Santo Stefano, a pretty hamlet in Cernobbio. The hamlet is served by a convenience store with groceries ("Il Negozietto"), a pastry shop ("Dolci Pani"), the restaurants "Della Torre" and "Federico" and the Trattoria "Il Glicine". If you love trekking or mountain biking, from here you can reach the "Croce dell'Uomo": at the top and along part of the trail you will find aphorisms and wood sculptures by Giò Aramini! Continuing along the Swiss border, you can enter along "Sentiero del Viulin" and you can reach the summit of Mount Bisbino.

CASA OLIVO is an excellent base for visiting Lake Como, but also for the many Fairs at Villa Erba (Orticolario, Proposte, Comocrea Textile Design Show) and for reaching Switzerland in a few minutes. In 5 minutes by car and 10 to 15 minutes on foot you'll reach the historic center of Cernobbio, with its Riva, the famous Villa d'Este, bars and small restaurants and elegant stores. Have breakfast at the excellent Pasticceria Poletti, lunch at the famous Harry's Bar restaurant, eat fresh ice cream at Sottozero. For a relaxing break, explore the Valley Garden, a wonderful garden with numerous plant species, Mediterranean and tropical, tended by a group of volunteers. In 15 to 20 minutes by car and only 10 by boat from the shore of Cernobbio you can reach the center of Como. By boat you can visit the picturesque villages on the lake: Blevio, Torno, Moltrasio, Argegno, Comacina Island, Ossuccio, and get as far as Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna.

How to get arrive: 

By car, from the A9 motorway take the "Como Lago" exit and set your GPS: in just 10 to 15 minutes you'll reach the apartment.

By train, from Como San Giovanni station take bus C10 for 7 stops and get off at "Cernobbio - Mazzini" stop, or walk to "Como - S. Rocchetto" stop and take bus No. 6 for 11 stops and get off at "Cernobbio - Mazzini" stop. From here you can take bus C28 for 3 stops and get off at "Piazza - Via P. Carcano 16) and walk 5 minutes to the apartment, or walk for about 20 minutes to the apartment.
