Crazy manager

I came with my kids for dance competition. We had an emergency at the dance competition. My 18-year-old son was at the house during that time to let the dog out and needed to pick up a DoorDash order. We couldn’t find the key to the rented golf cart so he used the House golf cart. He was not supposed to do this. I was very understanding. I gave the golf cart to Debbie without question. However, she spied on us our entire stay even coming by to check the trashcan outside. It was terrible. The house is outdated and had mildew in the showers. Plus, I felt very uncomfortable with her driving by and constantly watching us. It was really odd and she was very rude to my son and then told me he couldn’t be there by himself even though he’s 18 years old he’s going in the military he can die for his country but needs a 25 year-old adult with him while he’s with us on vacation that’s crazy. She should not be renting property if she feels she needs to spy on the guest the entire time they’re there. she and her husband sat and watched us the entire time we packed our car to check out of the house.

Nice vacation

We loved ocean lakes, it suited our family of teens and a toddler perfectly. The house offered everything we needed, golf cart, bikes, beach toys and chairs! Can’t wait to visit again.

Deb is amazing! She is quick to respond and has all the answers. The house is super clean thanks to Deb. Deb makes a killer Key Lime pie. Let me tell ya!!! Perfect for my family of 5. I'd come back in a heartbeat. Great parking area. Brand new deck.

Spring break

Great rental property. Weather a little chillier than we would’ve liked, but that had nothing to do w the rental lol. Clean and well maintained home. Manager was super nice and friendly, easy to work with. Had a surprise for us upon arrival. Home had beach chairs to use, outside toys and bikes which were entertaining and useful for our tween girls. Would re-book!

Perfect for our famiky & grandparents

We had been looking for a highly rated, pet friendly house, and this one did not disappoint. We had plenty of room for myself, husband & 2 small children, as well as my parents and their dog. The house was clean, and kitchen well stocked. The included golf cart was a huge bonus! We enjoyed the large porch area, as we had other family down as well - we even celebrated our daughters 6th birthday while there. Our kids enjoyed the swings downstairs, and the outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after being on the beach all day. Deb was a pleasure to work with, and never hesitated to answer any questions or concerns we had - she even made us a key lime pie! We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay at one of our favorite places!

A little late

I was not really looking forward to staying at this house, I wanted one closer to the water. But when I got there, I fell in love with the house it was everything that we needed. We had the best time ever. The best part of that was deb, the manager I called her so many times, and she was so pleasant. Every time I called her I wish I could find another one from her for next year.

Fell through the deck

The deck really needs to be all over repaired. I was walking on the side of the porch and fell through a spot on the deck. They did come and fix it or well patch the hole that I fell through. But I do feel as if they need to fix the whole deck because there are other boards that are lose. Please just be careful. The home owners did come down to fix it but they did not go through with their word on some other items. other than that the house was nice, it was a good location and had a golf cart. May need to bring a few more kitchen things depends on how your family likes to cook.

Great Property

House was very clean and the location was great. Worked out great for us with our small cavalier spaniel as well with the empty lot next door he was able to roam and use the restroom without having to walk on the hot asphalt during mid day. Deb was very kind and helpful if we needed anything. We will likely return to this property in the future!

A wonderful stay

We really enjoyed staying at this wonderful home away from home. The beach decor, proximity to all of our activities and restaurants and the exceptional hospitality of the property manager make for a memorable stay.

A Fabulous Stay

Very nice dog friendly property in Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach. A bonus is the golf cart that comes with the rental. Adjacent area to potty the puppy. Very nice manager to deal with.

Great Family House

Space was great for my husband and I and 3 teen girls. We all enjoyed the outdoor sitting space, lot adjacent the house and the location - easy in and easy out. For multiple people moving in and out at different times - it was really great to have a keyless entry!

Home is very nice and in an ideal location. I gave 3 stars for property manager. She did a good job but a little to good of a job. Around mid week of our stay She showed up at the home and requested to come into the house. I felt this was very intrusive . As much as I paid to rent the home I certainly did need some one checking in on me.

Everything was great

The house was great, especially the large porch. The extra yard space was really nice for our four legged child. An easy area to get in and out of. Will be in touch with Debra again for future stays.

Treat for the kids and a break for my mom

Well as discussed it was part business and part vacation but I was told to use the bath houses as are water was cut off the water park was shut down and I specifically said the kids were excited about that as we've stayed over the past 20 years also had a disturbing message about my dog that I even sent pics of her and saying most likely I won't be able to come without her I don't know how that became a problem when we Said we have pets and it said pet freindly

Wonderful stay!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The house was clean and Deb was amazing to work with. She was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had before and during the trip. Loved the deck, the downstairs area and the extra yard. My only note would be one of the beds in the rooms has been changed out to bunk beds, which worked for us with kids but was not depicted in the pictures or plainly spelled out in the description. Again, was not a problem for us, was actually a better case for us, just throwing that out there if you are needing 3 beds, and not a bunk bed.

We have chosen this property because of its convient location to the South Gate and the extra lot adjoining the house. This provides us with plenty of parking. We have camped at Ocean Lakes for nearly 20 years prior to purchasing our home.
