We chose Bayeux for its unique blend of history, beauty, and its meaningful place in the story of Normandy. Located in the very heart of the historical centre, just minutes from the D‑Day landing beaches, Bayeux is one of the few towns spared from total destruction during WWII. Walking its streets gives you a direct connection to the past—be it the Cathedral, the World‑Renowned Tapestry, or the surrounding Normandy countryside. It’s a place where heritage, culture, and nature combine in peaceful harmony
