Glad you guys had a great stay at Cocokai. Not sure what you mean aboit the temperature adjustments there are 3 thermostats there for guests to adjust room temperature.

It's a comfortable, charming private villa on the quiet North Side — not an ultra-modern luxury resort like those on Seven Mile Beach. Hundreds of guests over the past 10 years have absolutely loved Cocokai, with the vast majority leaving glowing 5-star reviews praising its cleanliness, relaxing vibe, authentic Cayman experience, and how perfectly it suits a true island getaway. Our photos and listing accurately show the home and pool (which is fully swimmable, with a deep end over 6 feet — a common size for Cayman vacation homes, where guests regularly swim and play in it). Check-in: We had an unexpected dishwasher issue from the night before. We prioritized getting the electrician out to complete a proper repair rather than leaving it non-functional. The team finished shortly after 4:30 pm, and you were able to put your groceries away and enjoy full use of the house right away. Cocokai sits in the tranquil Cayman Kai / Rum Point area on the North Side, which many visitors specifically choose for a peaceful, residential vacation away from the crowds and cruise-ship energy of Seven Mile Beach. This is the chill side of the island with beautiful water access. While more relaxed and remote than the west coast, there's a small convenience market just down the road, excellent local restaurants nearby like Kaibo and Over the Edge at Rum Point, and a full-service Foster's Supermarket about 20 minutes away with better prices. Grocery costs are higher across the island in general. The manager stopped by briefly the next day after our AC system alerted us to high humidity and cooling issues (very common in the Cayman humidity when windows and doors stay open while the AC runs full blast). She politely reminded the group about the house guidelines — keeping windows closed with the AC on to maintain comfort and protect the system — plus pulling the kayaks fully up past the waterline when not in use to prevent them drifting with the tide. These are standard notes in our welcome materials for everyone's enjoyment. We give guests plenty of space and are not supervising; we just address occasional issues quickly. The home offers direct beachfront access with ample off-road parking well away from the coastal road, so there's no concern with kids getting in/out of vehicles. Road noise is minimal, particularly in the back bedrooms that face the quiet yard and water. We provide a full assortment of snorkel gear and life jackets in various sizes at no extra charge (managed via a simple checkout system with our manager to keep everything in good condition) — no need to rent or bring your own. We appreciate every review and take feedback seriously to keep improving.
