The appartement was small but functional. Unfortunately the provided information about the Wifi network and password were incorrect. Furthermore the main light in the living room wasn’t working and the curtain rail in the living room was about to come off. Fortunately it survived during our stay. Otherwise the apartment suited our needs. We have the following suggestions for improvement: - Move the cupboards for plates and glasses from the kitchen to the living room. It would provide more space in the very small kitchen. - The door in the fridge lacks safety bars to prevent items from falling out. Please replace the fridge. - Beneath the window in the kitchen is a small cupboard with cleaning materials. A vacuum cleaner spontaneously fell out when we entered the kitchen. Maybe it’s better to store this elsewhere. - The cupboards in the living room and bedroom were filled up with towels and bed-linen. A little less towels and bed-linen in storage would give more storage for personal items. The communication around our reservation was chaotic. We booked through Home2Go, and received confirmation from Home2Go, BelleVilla and CheckMyGuest. This is highly confusing. Through CeckMyGuest we received information on how to access the appartement. But on our day of arrival we also received an SMS-message with different information. Confusing again.

L’endroit était beaucoup plus petit qu’il en donnait l’air sur photos (merci à la caméra grand angle). Déconseillé pour les familles ou les grandes/grosses personnes. Jeune couple seulement. Propre en surface, mais très poussiéreux. Le canapé-lit que nous avons dû ouvrir et fermer chaque jour (par manque d’espace) était vieux, sale, et brisé. Extrêmement inconfortable en lit, il aurait grand besoin d’être changé. La plus petite salle de bain que j’ai vu de ma vie était tout de même la pièce la plus propre de l’appartement. La cuisine avait tout ce dont on avait besoin, le wifi fonctionnait bien, et le lieu très bien situé (quartier Batignolles).

Alles in allem war es eine gute Erfahrung. Als Gruppe von vier Personen (zwei Erwachsene, ein elfjähriges und ein siebzehnjähriges Kind) würde ich die Unterkunft jedoch nicht empfehlen. Sie eignet sich vielleicht für ein junges Paar oder Leute, die kleine Wohnungen gewohnt sind (wie es in Paris üblich ist). Die Kinder hatten das Hauptschlafzimmer und teilten sich das Doppelbett, während wir Eltern das Schlafsofa jeden Tag zum Doppelbett und wieder zurück zum Sofa umbauen mussten, sonst war einfach kein Platz mehr. Das war unser größtes Problem: Das Schlafsofa war alt, ziemlich schmutzig und vor allem als Bett sehr unbequem. Es muss unbedingt ausgetauscht werden. Ein weiteres Problem: Die Wohnung wirkte zwar oberflächlich sauber, aber bei genauerem Hinsehen war überall Staub. Am schlimmsten war es unter dem Schlafsofa. Dort musste wohl seit Jahren nicht mehr gesaugt worden sein. Wir fanden allerlei Zeug: Glasscherben, benutzte Taschentücher und viele Staubflusen. Erwähnenswert ist auch, dass die Unterkunft in Wirklichkeit ganz anders aussieht als auf den Fotos. Sie ist nämlich sehr klein, da sie durch die Weitwinkelaufnahmen auf der Website größer wirkt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die gut ausgestattete Küche. Das Badezimmer (das kleinste, das wir je gesehen haben – und wir haben schon einiges gesehen!) war der sauberste Raum der Wohnung. Die Dusche hatte guten Wasserdruck und eine gute Temperaturregelung, die Toilette funktionierte einwandfrei usw. Die Lage ist außerdem super und praktisch, in einem der besten (meiner Meinung nach) und am meisten unterschätzten Viertel von Paris (Batignolles). Der Zugang war unkompliziert, aber komplett automatisiert. Es gab keinerlei Kommunikation, und auf meine wenigen Versuche, jemanden zu erreichen, reagierte niemand. WLAN war die ganze Zeit verfügbar und funktionierte. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass die Unterkunft für ein junges, sportliches Paar (größere Personen sollten sie unbedingt meiden) durchaus geeignet ist. Für Familien ist sie nicht zu empfehlen, und auch bei Allergien gegen Staub, Asthma oder anderen Atemwegserkrankungen rate ich davon ab.
