Sand dune stay

The house was clean and well stocked. Kids walked down to the beach every night. Owner even mailed back a lost airpod to us!

Visitors!

We needed a house for overflow, so we rented this house. It was great, so close to the beach and great views of Lake MI from the front patio. Enough space for everyone.

Girls Weekend 2023

The pictures do not do this house justice. The beach was wonderful even with the 81 stairs to go down to get to it. The host was always quick to respond. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of 8. Would highly recommend and would love to come back again. Thank you Erika.

Family weekend

We had a wonderful time staying at this beach house. Super easy access to the beach…just down many wooden steps. The house was very spacious with everything that we needed for a family of 8. The house was clean and comfortable. The house was in a great location… Set between the town of Pentwater and Silver Lakes. Lots to do within 10 minutes in each direction! I would highly recommend!

Perfect Beach Getaway

Lake Michigan beach days are the best and what a wonderful place to stay! All the beach toys, chairs and towels you need for fun in the sun. Nice touch with coffee, creamer, sugar, tea and hot chocolate. Even travel cups to enjoy down at the beach. Great place!

Great location for a family

We had 8 people stay at the house and the location was great. The house is clean and comfortable. The area is quiet & convenient to Pentwater, Hart, & Silver Lake. It is lovely being steps from the beach, which is easily accessed by the association stairs right across the street. We found using the stairs at Cedar Point Park to be great for the two folks with mobility issues as the stairs are less steep and have a solid handrail. This was our second stay at this property and would definitely stay again!

Another great trip!

This house provides the perfect location to either go visit the shops at Pentwater, the fun at Silver Lake or just a quiet day at the beach. This was our 2nd time here and had a great time. Everything you need, lots of room and such a peaceful place.

Vacation Getaway for Families

This property was everything we needed for our family vacation. Enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area. Wonderful stay :)

We had the best time, cute cottage, with all the necessities, fire pit, beach towels, chairs, etc. etc. Hosts were easy to communicate with, perfect location for Pentwater/Silverlake area. Awesome beach right across the street.

Great Family Weekend

Very Relaxing Lake Michigan

Very convenient to the private beach area (even with long stairs) and a short drive to nearby towns for restaurants and shopping. Sand Dunes are a short distance away as well. House was plenty big enough for 8 adults even two couches for those with snoring spouses. Laundry and Dishwasher were nice to have available as well.

Small Town Beach Getaway

This property is extremely close to the beach. Just walk across the street and down about 80 steps to a soft, sandy beach. Although there are many houses around, the beach was not crowded at all so it's very relaxing. Do pay attention to the specific *email* directions they give for getting to the house - because GPS did take us the wrong way and cell phone and GPS service are both extremely spotty in that area. Once at the house - wifi works great. Nearby towns are about a 15 min drive with grocery/restaurants. There's also a small family mini golf/family amusement park area in a nearby town - we just drove past it as we didn't have time to explore. In addition, we went on a nice paved bike path through forest/farm areas in the nearby town. Host was extremely patient and helpful and attentive - thanks again for everything!

Clean and updated and so close to the beach!

We (two adults and two small kids) rented this house for a week and had a great experience. The house is very clean and well-stocked with housewares (no need to bring towels or pots and pans and the like, but do bring toiletries and all cooking staples like olive oil and whatnot etc.). The fire pit out front was a particular bonus, and we used it many nights!

We love this location! It's only 1 hour from Grand Rapids, 2 from Lansing and 3 from Detroit. It's a gem located in a quiet neighbor with easy access to to the Lake Michigan beach, Silver Lake and Pentwater.
There is so much to do in this little known area! Climb the sand dunes at Silver Lake State Park or rent (or bring your own!) ATVs to ride the dunes in the State Recreation Area. Enjoy the arcade, zip line and track cars in Silver Lake or take a tour with Mac Woods Dune rides.
Continue south the visit the Little Sable light house that you can actually climb up in! Even a bit further south is the Cherry Point Farms Lavender Labyrinth. Great for a day trip to grab lunch!

Pentwater has restaurants, bars, shops and more! Take the kids to Mears State Park to burn off some energy at the playground or walk the pier.
