Thank you for your review and for staying with me. I do hope you can return in the years to come! Also, yes as you know I will certainly address the slow drain in the bathtub and with the commode. Travel home safely!

Great Place for a Solo Stay Over in Phoenix!

A great little guest suite in Phoenix. The room was clean with all necessary amenities. Easy to access and find, a very cute little property. Loved the little “guard dog” Oreo!

Cute and Quaint

This a delightful property in a great location with a pleasant ambiance. Susanna is discreet and very easy to work with. The bed is super comfortable and I loved all the antique touches in the decor. Good water and comfy living area. Very peaceful and quiet. Thank you Susanna! I was very pleased with my stay.

Thank You, we work very hard to keep our rental as clean & quiet as possible. Our garden entry & sitting space outside the rental is second to none.

Great location and price.

First the (minor) things that could be improved. As mentioned in the previous review, this place has great potential, with some minor improvements over time it can be really nice (such as upgrades to the fridge & microwave). Susanna: I have stayed in a lot of houses over the years, feel free to email me for other suggestions. The hot water takes a while and the TV reception isn't the greatest, no big deal. The neighbors were a little loud at times, but I wasn't around much. Now the positives. Plenty of privacy, cute décor inside and out, great central Phoenix location and price. The host did a very good job communicating before and during my stay. A small mother-in-law suite, ideal for one or two people only. Based on the price and location, I would definitely recommend to others.

Nice spot. Clean and simple.

The good: The bed was comfortable. The unit was clean and quiet. The garden, though I spent no time in it, was lovely to walk through. The weird: This unit has no stove (this may have been mentioned in the description, but I didn't see it). While there is a hot plate the "kitchen" area is not ventilated, and has a smoke detector immediately above the counter, so cooking anything that might smoke is out. The key left for the door did not fit the lock's keyway. Fortunately, the door is also coded, and the property manager was quick to respond to me when I arrived and was unable to get in.Overall a good experience for the price.

Thank you Jacob for the review and I have updated the check in information about the key, I had just installed the keypad. Yet I am happy you were able to get in okay. We typically open the door for ventilation during cooking but I hear your concerns and will take note! Overall I am glad you stayed and would host you again as you were a wonderful, peaceful guest and followed all the rules! Many thanks!

I like to go barefoot and it was welcome pleasure to walk on clean floors, unlike most floors in motels. I would stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Pluses & minuses

Very clean. Need more blankets. Bed comfortable. Tub does not drain. Need mat in bottom of tub for slip risk. Also an alarm clock would be nice. Overall was good. We would stay again.

Stay at Home Away

The property was beautiful and well groomed. Unfortunately the weather was a little chilly for Phoenix so we didn’t get to enjoy the patio, but the house was in a great location to make other choices. Cheers!

Room for improvement

Cons- the bed squeaks so much- it wakes you every time you roll over, there is a musty/moldy smell in the bathroom and the towels are crusty/ rough like sand paper, there is no hair dryer, the mat at the entrance is a fall hazard on the slick tile, the area reserved for visitor parking is invisible at night, the neighbors fight and cuss each other out every night. Pros- the space is clean, beautiful fountains with running water. Owners are kind with adorable puppy. Spacious area including bathroom, bedroom and small front room. Decor is beautiful.

Thank You for your review, I will check into toe squeaky bed. The bathroom was remodeled with new counter top, paint shelves etc. I will see if I can address the musty smell, I check after each cleaning and I did not smell anything but will investigate further.

Very nice property manager

We had planned our stay on the same week that the President advised everyone not to travel because of Corona virus. I was in the at-risk group so we cancelled. The property manager, very sweetly, refunded our money. That says a lot about her character. Since she was so considerate, we considered everything as a 5 star.
