The apartment looks exactly like the photos and is conveniently located near the train station and Pisa Centrale—great for getting around. When I first arrived, there were a few fruit flies buzzing around, but they disappeared after a day.Check-in Experience: This was the most frustrating part of the stay. The lockbox system uses a mobile app and Bluetooth to unlock, but it kept jamming and would automatically relock after five seconds. After 24 hours of travel, I found myself frantically pressing the unlock button, setting my phone down, and trying to open the box before it locked again—over and over. I reached out to the company via WhatsApp with no response, and the phone number listed was incorrect. Eventually, another tenant happened to walk by and helped me open it by pulling the cover while I triggered the unlock. Pleiades (the management company) insists this issue is rare, but the tenant said it happens often.Pro Tip: By the end of the week, I discovered the problem: if someone hangs the key ring from the internal latch inside the lockbox, it jams the mechanism. To avoid this, do not hang the keys from the latch—just place them at the bottom of the box. That solved everything.Apartment Details: The bathroom is extremely compact, and the shower is about 2ft x 2ft. If you're a larger person, it might be a tight squeeze.Highlight: The backyard patio is the true gem of this property. I spent several lovely evenings there with a glass of wine.
