Villa Ninemia - Living Greek
Make yourself at home at Villa Ninemia, a luxury property that offers amazing views of the Cretan mountains and the Libyan Sea. The villa is located just outside of Agia Galini and only one kilometer from the beach and the village centre.
Across 150 square meters interior space Villa Ninemia offers ample room for groups up to eight people: three en-suite bedrooms with queen-size beds, one with an additional double bunk bed, as well as a large living room with a fully equipped open kitchen and a large dining table. The terrace and pool area are 220 square meters wide and combine a heated 30 square meter pool. a large sunken pool lounge and an outside kitchen with a large wooden dining table.
A BBQ is provided for evening cookouts with your friends and family. Villa Ninemia was designed with respect to the morphology of the area, which is quite hilly. Its beautiful location on a slope opens up an amphitheater-like view of the sea in the distance.
The contemporary architecture follows clean lines and provides large spaces, both inside and outside the villa, allowing the adjacent natural environment to breath and celebrate the prevailing serene atmosphere of the site.
During your stay, you are welcome to use all the facilities Villa Ninemia provides. We built this place to make our home your home.
You can also always reach out to our local holiday team to ask them questions or to receive advice on things to do. Our on-site holiday team lives in a nearby mountain village and is available to you 24/7 in case you need support or advice. They will check you in and out and you will receive their contact details so you can stay in touch with them.
Kindly be informed that we are required to collect an environment fee of 15 Euro per night. According to Greek law, the fee helps with the reconstruction efforts after the wildfires that hit Greek hard in recent years. We will issue a receipt of payment for the environment fee, which you have to keep and show to authorities when asked (which is rarely the case).

We enjoyed the breathtaking views, where mountains and sea are smoothly blending together, where the turquoise Libyan Sea is so clear that you can watch the fish swimming around your feet. We indulged in the Mediterranean cuisine with sharing plates of fresh fish, sun-ripened tomatoes, fresh oven baked bread dipped in delicious olive oil. The Greek word “Philoxenia”, the love of the foreign, means that you come as a stranger, but you walk away as a friend. The warm and true welcome you will be greeted with in Agia Galini is not a marketing trap, but a pure and genuine way of life – the Greek way of living. One such village is home to Villa Ninemia: Agia Galini, nestled at the feet of the surrounding mountainscape and around a cute harbour, where fishing boats gently sway in the clear waters of the Libyan Sea. Agia Galini is one hour and fifteen minutes away from Heraklion Airport, and just under two hours from the airport of Chania. As so often in life, the best things require some effort to reach – but we promise you, the trip down here is well worth it. Apart from the legendary hospitality of its people, Agia Galini’s main attractions are the village beach, the local tavernas in the picturesque alleys of the village and along the harbour front, as well as the mesmerizing landscape of its hinterland.
