Welcome to Len's Lookout - one of the finest and largest properties on The Bay Filey with panoramic views of Filey Bay.

Featuring downstairs bedroom, shower room, huge kitchen, balcony with sea view, patio, log burner and stunning master suite - this is truly a special home from home and really is suitable for "something special".

Enter through the side porch door into the spacious hallway with cloaks / storage and lots of space for beach gear. To the side is a double bedroom with patio doors and ensuite shower room.

Continue across the hallway through to the living room. There is a lovely fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, tall fridge-freezer, oven/hob, microwave and washing machine.

Off the kitchen is a dining area with plenty of room for 8 people (2 additional dining chairs provided) which leads to the stunning lounge area

The lounge area features a log burner, multiple large comfortable sofas, sofa bed (ideal for children not adults) and bifold doors onto the large patio with seating and amazing access to the field - ideal for kids to play.

Upstairs there is the stunning main bedroom suite with a kingsize bed with an ensuite shower room, seating area with bifold doors onto the wide expansive balcony with views to The Sea and beyond.

There are 2 further bedrooms - one double and one twin. These share a large family bathroom.

There's a parking space for two cars and other spaces nearby for further vehicles.

Mums surprise 80th birthday treat with all the family

Wonderful property in probably the best location on The Bay . Every amenity provided for inside the properly as well . Great base to explore surrounding areas . Wouid definitely recommend to anyone looking for a big house for a special event .

Weekend at Lens Place - September 2026

I was a little disappointed, really. For over £1,000 for the weekend I expected more. The kitchen was poorly equipped, especially when supposedly supporting 10 guests. We had little flies buzzing around and it must not be a new problem as there were two insectecutors in the kitchen and fly spray under the sink. The downstairs shower didn’t drain away and the family shower was a struggle to put into its hanger. There is nowhere in the en suite bathroom to put sponge bags and the bathroom cabinet was loose on the wall, so I could not use. The property is lovely and the position wonderful, but I think it needs a little upgrading and some thought about storage; a desk and a bookcase in downstairs bedroom, but no wardrobe! A welcome pack and/or a cleaning pack including a dishwasher tablet, more than one tea towel, all would have made our stay more pleasant.

We are a little saddened by your review as we note you didnt contact us whilst there as our on site team could have corrected any issues within minutes. On the subject of flies - the property is on the edge of a meadow and near a lake / coast. We do clearly state in the guidebook we cannot control these and as you note we have provide electric zappers to reduce their impact. We will take your comments on storage onboard and will be making these changes over the winter. On the welcome pack issue - we state that if we forget this please contact us and we will drop you off one and a treat to say sorry - and we note again you didnt let us know whilst there so apologies for the oversight. Fantastic house

We had a great stay. The house is in a fantastic position with sea views from the terrace and very peaceful. Beautiful house with everything you need, well equipped, clean. Great house for a larger family lots of space, very comfy beds, lovely bathrooms. Lots of equipment for going to the beach too including a trolley to transport everything. We would definitely stay again 10 out if 10

Needs a good clean

Some areas of the property had not been cleaned properly for a while a number of cobwebs were presents in bedrooms and bathrooms. However this will not stop us booking again.

We are sorry you spotted some issues and it should be noted that you reported a condition issue whilst in the property (a broken door handle and a few cobwebs) which we offered to fix within the hour and you declined this being fixed and cleaned which we would have done for you - it is really hard to correct minor issues when guests decline our services and offer of a swift remedy. Pleasant family stay

Fantastic location with beautiful views. Lovely, spacious living area. We had requested a cot, however, this could not be found, we contacted a member of staff from the Anchor Bay team regarding this who rang promptly to suggest where to look. Eventually it was found it a locked cupboard. It would have been a more enjoyable, relaxing start if the cot was easier to be located. We were expecting to see a family football table as described in the advertisement, however, this was not in the property. We feel the downstairs bedroom could be improved if a wardrobe could replace the bookcase as there is nowhere to hang clothes. The property was mainly clean, although, the window's and balcony needed to be clean as they were very dirty. Overall, we had a great stay and would return.

We are sorry you had to call us about the cot - this had been locked away by the owners brother in error - I hope you didn't find the 5 minute delay in finding this too stressful and it didn't spoil your holiday. We don't have a family football table in this property - there is one in Sunrise View which is a similar layout so maybe you got confused with that listing? We apologise for the dirty windows and balcony - this has been reported to Away Resorts who clean these as part of our service charge - worth noting that the Seaview location can make these appear dirty even soon after being cleaned which again is outside of our control.

Excellent holiday home

Excellent holiday home in superb location beautiful views of the sea and sunrise! Very well equipped kitchen, 2 ovens to cope with cooking for 9. Beds very comfortable but the sofa bed for children only is in the lounge so not suitable for young children who need a quiet place to get to sleep. Was fine for our 12 year old. ( I mixed up the description with another house and thought the sofa bed was in the large bedroom) we used the swimming pool a few times and this was great, life guard in attendance at all times. Short walk to the lovely beach and large grassy area outside the house for children to play whilst you sit outside on the patio furniture. Really good communication from Anthony at Anchor Bay Holidays. Would definitely return .
