Welcome to Britannia House - one of the finest and largest properties on The Bay Filey - featuring downstairs bedroom, shower room, huge kitchen, balcony with sea view, Air Conditioning (charges apply), patio, log burner and stunning master suite - this is truly a special home from home and really is suitable for "something special".

Enter Britannia House through the side porch door into the spacious hallway with cloaks storage. To the side is a double bedroom with patio doors and ensuite shower room.

Continue across the hallway through to the living room. There is a lovely fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, tall fridge-freezer, oven/hob, microwave and washing machine.

Off the kitchen is a dining area with plenty of room for 8 people which leads to the stunning lounge area.

The lounge area features log burner, Large SMART TV, multiple large comfortable NEW sofas (one a sofa bed) and bifold doors onto the large patio with new seating and double BBQ with amazing access to the field - ideal for kids to play. Please note the lounge area is air conditioned (subject to additional charges)

Upstairs there is the stunning main bedroom suite (air conditioned) with a kingsize bed, with an ensuite shower room, seating area with bifold doors onto the balcony with views to The Sea and beyond. There are 2 further bedrooms each with 2 single beds - these share a large family bathroom.

There's a parking space for two cars and other spaces nearby for further vehicles.

Britannia House is a large pet friendly house and is ideal for a large family with space for 2 dogs!

-SMART TV in lounge with luxury sumptuous carpet throughout the property.
-Air Conditioned (charges apply - lounge and master suite - this is a large and comprehensive system and costs a lot of money to run so this will be made unavailable unless charges are paid)

Family Holiday

We stayed 4 nights in Britannia House with family and grandchildren. The downstairs open plan layout was perfect, kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms were great for our needs. Location very handy just a few minutes walk to the pool, gym, shop arcade and pub. The path to the beach took around 5 minutes which was very convenient. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Family get together

Stayed at Brittania House for my daughters 40th birthday 7 adults 2 kids and our dog ...The property was spotless plenty of cooking utensils pots pans glasses. A beautiful property with large spacious rooms nicely furnished.lovely patio area outside were we had our lunch .would loved to have gone back for Christmas or new year but sadly the property was booked so will be looking to book early 2026 .

Great holiday home

Lovely property great views would definitely stay here again we needed to contact the company re a couple of lights that were not working and a toilet that was constantly running they came out within an couple of hours to fix them .

Great place to stay

Britannia house is a fabulous place to stay, very comfortable for the whole family, lots of space and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. I stayed in the downstairs bedroom, which didn’t have a wardrobe or any hooks to hang my clothes which was a bit inconvenient as I had to use one of the wardrobes upstairs, it did have a set of drawers though and direct access to the downstairs bathroom, saying that we are already planning our next stay!

Spacious and well appointed house

A lovely spacious and well equipped house. Location nice as at the edge of the estate with an open aspect at the front and only a 10 min walk to the beach. Parking is tight with only room for one car outside the property but other parking is a short walk away. The Bay itself is Ok although getting to swim at the pool in the height of the summer season could be tricky as there were queues at half term. I put 4 for cleanliness as some of the glasses in the kitchen cupboards were smeared and en-suite windowsills needed wiping. Other than that bathrooms etc were clean.

The perfect property for a birthday break away!

This was our second time staying at Britannia house, when planning a double birthday celebration (a 50th and 22nd) we knew Britannia house would be the perfect property!! Fabulous views from both the downstairs and upstairs balcony - we even had snow which made the view that extra bit special! Would definitely recommend Britannia house, especially for larger families or multi friendship groups as it’s definitely the perfect place to connect with there being so much space Amazing communication and service from Anthony yet again too (Thank you!!)

Britannia House

Perfect location for family getaway - lots of space & general condition fine A few cobwebs here & there & dummy & train ticket from 2023 found under cushions on settee but overall condition good. Bifold doors could do with a bit of oil - they sound like the doors in a haunted house. Change machine in amusement arcade empty from Monday to Wednesday - we asked at both shop & pub but nobody seemed to accept responsibility and couldn’t give change so grandsons didn’t spend as much as usual which is probably an advantage Would definitely stay here again

Good property could be better

Lovely big house, plenty of space and great location. It was the little things that let it down, almost empty hand sanitisers in bathrooms/kitchen, chipped plates in cupboard, very low quality tv in living room, filthy cupboard under kitchen sink, all kitchen utensils are old and need updating, sand on spade and in beach bag in cupboard, no washing up liquid yet window cleaner and shower cleaner? all walls marked and could do with a refresh, white dog hairs on settee, a very very old hairdryer, the freezer needed de-icing and a gap in flooring from the laminate to carpet in the living area. All these little things are not expensive to replace/clean/repair yet would make a massive difference to people stopping here.

Lovely house in a great location!

Lovely big living area with stylish but comfy furniture, and an excellent kitchen. Super comfy beds! It was well equipped- like a home from home. Anthony was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again so we can explore more of the beautiful countryside.

Excellent!

Fantastic property in excellent location! Huge property with masses of space in every area. Great layout to accommodate every generation, from downstairs bedroom/bathroom, to spacious quiet bedrooms upstairs, meaning the little ones could sleep without being disturbed. Playing area outside for kids to play, with lovely sea view and local pub/shop and leisure facilities within a short walk. Extremely clean and well equipped. Excellent customer service with lots of detailed information and friendly communication. Highly recommend!

Britannia House

This is a spacious property in an excellent location for beach walks. It is comfortable and modern with the master bedroom having sea views and a seating out veranda. Unfortunately the time of year we visited we couldn’t sit out to take advantage of this. But this doesn’t detract from how this property is ideal for time together with families. I would strongly recommend a stay at this property. My only negative was the cleanliness of the oven, however I was unaware that this could have been resolved during our stay, but chose not to raise the issue at the time (my fault). And the only reason why all scores are not 5’s.

Amazing stay

I visited here with my family, a mix of all ages including young children, and it did not disappoint. The location is amazing with plenty to do on site including only a short walk down to the beach. This provided the most gorgeous of views seen via both sets of bifold doors in the living area and the master bedroom above. The property is so spacious with a very generous amount of space to be found especially in the living areas which is just what we needed. It was beautifully clean throughout and has everything you could ask for. A truly relaxing home from home break away.

This place is amazing.

What a fantastic weekend we have had in this beautiful house. The rooms and the views are 5 star. We were a family of 8 with dogs and a great time was had by all. The location is brilliant round the corner from.all the amenities. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes. It was lovely to sit outside with the family and the dogs and children enjoyed the big Greenland in front of us for the dogs. The house is stunning with everything you need for a family to stay. Anthony was brilliant with booking it for us and we will certainly be going back. If you are thinking about staying at the bay , do it, it is fantastic place to stay.

Special 40th birthday

We had a fantastic family break here. The accommodation is specious with everything we needed. Lovely garden space to the rear with patio and balcony and the bbq area was great to take advantage of the weather. Site feels safe and well equipped. Handy shop with everything you’d need. Nice pool. The pub and restaurant also looked good, but we didn’t use. We’ll be back and would recommend.

Amazing

We have recently stayed at Britannia house wow wow wow what a house it is even better in the flesh. We went as a family with our little we all had our own rooms and a bathroom each. Waking up to the incredible views was breath taking. The pool was nice the pub on sight was nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is a safe sight for children to enjoy and play outside. Anthony who I booked with was just the best so helpful and communicated great. Thank you so much we can’t wait to return we loved it

Fabulous house, wonderful resort and location

We had a wonderful holiday. We were taking our older parents, and we needed a house which was wheelchair friendly. This house was just perfect. Plenty of room downstairs to move the wheelchair around. Great for our 2 small dogs with lovely walks on the beach. The facilities at the resort with a pool was great for our teenage boys. And the room with the balcony was heavenly to look at the view from our bed in the morning. Really happy with our break. Thank you. Liz
