La Fortuna Villa features three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor, along with a spacious open-plan area on the ground floor. The ground floor includes a breakfast room, dining room, living room, expansive chef's kitchen, and an additional bathroom. Open a window and step out onto the patio, which boasts a private swimming pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor seating area, BBQ station, and a private gym. You can also enjoy your own exotic garden, home to over 300 banana trees. The entire villa and its exterior are situated on private property, granting you, as a guest, complete access to all areas.

You can reach out to Dr. Kate Janik at any time. She will help you with your check-in and check-out instructions and will act as your personal concierge, providing recommendations for trips, island activities, excursions, and rentals. You can contact her anytime.

It is advisable to arrange any rentals—such as cars, bikes, scooters, bicycles, or beach buggies—prior to your arrival. This also applies to private tours or gourmet dinners. It is recommended to get in touch with Dr. Kate Janik as soon as you confirm your booking and ask any questions you may have, so she can assist you in avoiding disappointments from sold out activities or rentals, particularly during the high season (July and August).
House Rules for Guests at Villa La Fortuna

Welcome! To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay, please adhere to the following house rules:

Keys & Access
Keys provided include: gate, main entrance, garage entrance door.
To open the garage gate, press the button A for 2 seconds.
Please avoid going under the gate sensor, gate will stop.

Windows
Windows: Up = closed, Down = open.

Kitchen
Kitchen features: worktop that is not heat resistant always use bamboo mats or wooden boards provided in order not to burn the worktop.
Please use the electric stove for safety; the gas stove requires a lighter to start.

Electrical Outlets
The main switch for sockets is located next to the main entrance door.

Laundry Room
Amenities include a tumble dryer, cleaning supplies, and a fire extinguisher.

Rubbish Disposal
Use the outdoor bins for rubbish disposal (above the wooden fence).

Pool Safety
Safety is a priority: No lifeguard on duty.
The anti-stream must not be left on.
Always shower before entering the pool and do not jump into the pool.

Jacuzzi
Please shower before entering the Jacuzzi. Use flip flops when moving from the swimming pool to the Jacuzzi.

Smart Devices
Do not touch the smart main home control located on the wall next to the ground floor bathroom.
The left smart socket (G33) controls lights, shutters, and temperature.
Note: Do not activate the floor heating in the summertime - it will not work.

Water Cooler
Hot and cold water is available at all times.

Bathroom
Equipped with an electric bidet. Use remote control provided.

Shutters
Close windows first before adjusting shutters. Remove all objects from windowsills.

Cleaning Schedule
Cleaning is scheduled before your arrival and again midway through your stay, unless you specify otherwise. This routine is based on weekly reservations. The cleaner will start with exterior tasks and arrive at the house around 9:30 AM. If you prefer no cleaning services at all or wish for her to arrive later, please notify us in advance. Be aware that late cleaner arrivals may not always be feasible. During the mid-stay cleaning, the cleaner will change hand and body towels, replenish toiletries, drinking water, and coffee, vacuum, polish, mop the floors, and remove rubbish. She will not wash dishes; please keep the kitchen tidy and use the provided dishwasher. In line with our sustainability program, bed linen is changed weekly. If you'd like fresh linen during the mid-stay cleaning, an additional fee of 150 euros will apply. The same fee applies for extra cleaning days if needed. If you require additional cleaning services, please inform us as soon as possible to ensure they can be scheduled.

Smoking Policy
The interior is strictly non-smoking. You can smoke outside, wherever you find ashtray.

Damages
An inspection for damages will be conducted upon check-out. Any damages must be settled immediately; otherwise, charges may be billed through your booking platform, potentially incurring additional fees.

Sofa Care
Do not sit on the velvet sofa if covered in oil or sunscreen.

Temperature Control
Use the smart socket for temperature reduction; access the climate control do not press any other control, just climate for cooling, on/off, temperature and fan speed (some fan controls are reversed - medium is high and high is medium).

General Safety
Do not jump from the balcony into the pool.
Always follow safety rules and do not leave children unattended.

Garden Maintenance
Please keep the garden clean.

Quiet Hours
Follow Corfu Island's quiet hours: Siesta 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM and evening 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Exterior Living room area
Do not walk on ridges; there is a danger of falling and injury.

BBQ Use
For BBQ: Turn on gas from the bottle, wait for 2 minutes then start the front buttons to grill. Always close all buttons and turn off the gas bottle after use.

Gym
Use gym equipment with caution.

Towel Policy
Pool towels provided are not for beach use. If you need beach towels, they can be rented for €20 per towel for your stay. Please ask your concierge. If you use our towels as beach towels, we will charge you 70 euro per towel penalty.

Sustainability
To help conserve resources, please turn off electrical appliances and lights when not in use. Keep windows and doors closed when the air conditioning or heating is on to maximize efficiency. Additionally, try to minimize water usage by taking shorter showers and avoiding unnecessary water consumption. Your cooperation in saving electricity and water is greatly appreciated and helps us maintain a sustainable environment.
