Amazing stay with Simonetta and Giovanni

This was such a wonderful trip to Italy. The hosts are attentive and helpful. The highlight was a pasta cooking class. I cannot recommend this stay enough!

You visited also several places we suggested in our Area during the beautiful grape harvest and the wine festivals in Greve in Chianti and in Panzano in Chianti. A very nice stay

Our stay was amazing! Simonetta and Giovanni were truly fantastic. The house is in an old style, which makes it charming. It's a big house with plenty of space.It was nice that some essential groceries were already available in the house.We were welcomed with a delicious cake and received great tips about the area. We felt completely at home!

Radda in Chianti Villa

The owners, Simonetta and Giovanni, were a delight! We stayed for 5 days, and took day trips to towns and villages they recommended throughout the Tuscan region. One of the highlights at the property, was a pasta making dinner with them. Simonetta was our chef, and Giovanni, our sommelier. We leaned how to make pasta from scratch, and how to properly drink wine. (Yes, there is a right way to do it!) They make their own wine from their sprawling vineyard, ... and extra virgin olive oil too! We consumed plenty of both during our stay and shipped some back to the states to enjoy! We loved it there and look forward to returning

Our 5 night stay at the Podere Tegline will forever be remembered as one of our favorite vacation destinations. Simonetta was a wonderful host. She was always very happy to help and had an incredibly warm and welcoming personality. You could tell that she takes pride in the family farm. We day tripped to many hilltop towns including Siena, Florence, Greve, Castellina, and Volterra. On Simonetta’s recommendation we explored Montefioralle and fell in love with it after having the most amazing lunch with a view at Il Guerrino. The Podere is centrally located so it was easy and adventurous getting to all these towns. Just up the road is a beautiful restaurant called Osteria Le Panzanelle that is not to be missed. Amazing food and staff at amazing prices. Lastly, it was breathtaking to watch the stars and the Milky Way in the post midnight sky. We absolutely loved it there and look forward to returning. A short stay but very intensive above all because you appreciated the place , breathing with your heart the history, nature, the silence, and you were always surprised from the beauties you were findind during your excursions. So many beautiful attractive things nearby the farmhouse , in 15 minutes you can reach all the medioeval villages of Chianti and then , ancient castles, museum, good restaurnts, good wineries, farms. And, at the end of the day he best is to coming home in the night looking to discover all the stars in the sky. We wish we could meet you again soon.

Home away from home

We had an incredible stay at Podere Tegline. The farmhouse had been restored to maintain its charm, but had all the comforts of home. It was very roomy for 3 adults and had lots of outdoor space as well. We loved sitting on the terrace each night watching the sun set behind the hills. It’s location was perfect - just a short drive and you can be in so many different villages of the Chianti region. Simonetta and Giovanni were the best hosts! Simonetta was very helpful and had so much information about the area. The best night of our stay was when we attended a pasta making class at Simonetta and Giovanni’s home. What a treat! We had so much fun making pasta and eating it with their lovely family. It is a memory we will never forget. I would highly recommend Podere Tegline and hope that we will be able to return in the future.

Ein schöner Ort zum Ausruhen und Entspannen mit der Familie

Uns hat es in Podere Tegline sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben mit unserer Tochter einen sehr schönen Urlaub dort verbracht. Kleine Ausflüge in die nähere und auch weitere Umgebung waren ohne Probleme möglich. (Seine und Florenz sind in ca. 1 Stunde erreichbar.) Das Baden am Teich hat für ausreichend Abkühlung gesorgt. Wir konnten hier im Tal auch viele kleine und große Tiere beobachten. Die Unterkunft in dem alten Bauernhaus ist sehr gemütlich und urig. Zudem kümmern sich die Besitzer Simonetta und Giovanni ganz herzlich um ihre Gäste. Sie stehen immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Danke für die schönen Ferien!

Christina and her Family were really very kind people. They stay 15 nights so we had time to speak together and gave them all the suggestions to do a special holiday in Chianti. Beautiful and charming. Like stepping into the past but with all the comforts of home. Loved it.

The hosts were warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We visited many nearby villages and met many artist and craftsmen. The open air market was wonderful! The apartment was like stepping back in time....with all the comforts of home. It was charming & cozy and the views were peaceful and beautiful. We would love to return one day for a longer visit. Farmhouse stay in Chianti region of Italy

My husband and I have nothing but wonderful memories of our stay at Podere Tegline, in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Our hosts, Simonetta and Giovanni, were enthusiastic and excited about their home and about giving us suggestions for towns to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed an Italian dinner they made in their home. We returned to the U.S. with wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, all of which were made at Podere Tegline. The whole family is dedicated to their farm production and it showed through their passion for their livelihood. The farmhouse where we stayed had all the amenities we needed, the bed we slept in (in the original tower) was comfortable and the kitchen was small but met our needs. While the road in to the farm is bumpy and unpaved and needs to be driven with care, the rural location was quiet and relaxing. We highly recommend Podere Tegline to anyone who wants a unique and enjoyable experience in the Chianti region of Tuscany in Italy.

Tegline is an ancient house just upon a Chianti Hill with 47 hectares full fenced. Vineyards , fields, oak forest and a little lake are at your disposal to take off from the busy city life and stressful work! You can enjoy just relaxing on the solarium terrace or on the lake drinking a good glass of our red or rosè Chianti Classico Wine with some slices of bread tasting our Extra Virgin Olive Oil , both strictly organic. At a south position you have sun all the day in June till 10pm ! There are several little villages nerby , Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, Panzano in Chianti and art cities as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Arezzo, San Gimignano..... We will suggest you the best place to visit, how to reach them and what you could do. We hope to meet you again one day !!

Wonderful farm from Roman times

We loved our stay on Podere Tegline, a wonderful farm from Roman times in the middle of the Chianti area and taken good care of by the family for many centuries. Our apartment had many authentic details such as the fireplace, sink and furniture such as bed, table and chairs that gave it a warm feeling. Simonetta and Giovanni gave us a hearty and enthusiastic welcome providing lots of practical as well as touristic tips. On the farm, you almost feel like time has no influence anymore such that you can isolate yourselves from the hectics of everyday life and just enjoy the sunshine, swimming in the lake, beautiful stars in the sky and occasionally deer jumping over the fence. From the farm you can have easy daytrips to charming little cities such as San Gimignano and Volterra or the treasures of Siena and Florence. Multo grazie Simonetta and Giovanni for sharing with us such a wonderful place where we really felt at home!

It went above and beyond our expectations!

Wow! This was an incredible place to stay - full of history and so much love! The hosts, Simonetta and Giovanni, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. They had amazing suggestions for the surrounding cities- best gelato we had in Italy! The house and the surrounding land was absolutely gorgeous!! Also, their wine is incredible and definitely do the homemade pasta dinner at their house! It was lovely. It was also my girlfriend's birthday while we were there and Simonetta and Giovanni and their family made her a cake, sang to her, and decorated their house for her as well. We could go on and on about this place. Honestly, Stay here!

A Magical Experience

Our stay there was not like a typical vacation at a bed and breakfast…it was like stepping back in time and away from the crazy world we live in and being able to slowly soak up life and time with one’s self and with family. It was like a dream. It is so peaceful and beautiful there that it is hard to find words. Simonetta and Giovanni were natural hosts and gave us space, yet were welcoming and allowed us to make it whatever experience we wanted. Simonetta let us know about the surrounding area and various things going on. I don’t know what we would have done without her guidance. We hope to come back every year. It was like no other place I have been. Truly memorable!

The farmhouse is beautiful and so peaceful. Wonderful hosts!

Simonetta and Giovanni were so warm and welcoming. We followed every suggested place or event that.they gave which made our stay more memorable. The farmhouse was comfortable and in such a beautiful setting it was hard to leave. I absolutely would recommend this beautiful farmhouse to anyone visiting Chianti.

Giovanni has personally followed all the restoring works of the house to preserve its history. Tegline is a house steeped in history and full of love among the hills Chianti, in the heart of our property.
Our farm is a true and original place whether to be able to enjoy moments of peace and serenity together with the warm reception of Simonetta and Giovanni.
The history of the house, the original antique furniture, the objects of the past together with the silence and the vegetation that surrounds it offer a natural oasis with its 47 hectares of ground. Private garden with gazebo, table and chairs to eat and relax to the red sunset in the summer evenings and a beautiful solarium terrace with a sight on the pount. Shady parking.
We offer information to our guests to visit the Chianti to find the best enogastronomy and to help them to satisfy their requirements to realize a vacation full of new experiences.
If you have children, you will find baby bed, cot, abychair, babybath and a lot of toys and out a large space to play with our children and our animals (Vanilla, our horse, Brina our dog, Cami our goat, Pelucchia our cat).

We do cooking class about home made pasta, pizza and several Tuscan plates and special Tuscan dinner sometimes to live together.

The Talluri's Family is present in Chianti from many centuries. Part of the properties come from family, others we have recently purchase and renovate. The oldest vineyards are from 1975 and the youngest 2005. We restore a property as a farmhouse to give the possibility to live a vacation in one of the most amazing places in our Tuscany.

"The house comes from an agricultural Roman settlement. In the VII Century was built the Longobardian Tower that still exists. The greatest part of the construction dates from the 16° century with enlargements date 18° century. From the porch that looks toward the valley with our vineyards is possible to see amazing sunsets sitting at the table nursing a glass of good wine 'our Chianti Classico Black Rooster!'
