Zen Villas is a group of 4 villas near the seaside in Crete. The 4 "Zen Villas" are:
VILLA HEPHAISTOS
VILLA CHRYSI
VILLA APHRODITE
VILLA HERA
Each of the 4 villas is independent, with its own private pool and private outdoor space.
The seaside (large sandy beach) is just 3 km away! Shops of all kinds and tavernas are just 2 km away.
Also worth visiting is renowned Lake Kournas, just 5 km away (paddleboat rental, lakeside tavernas, shops).
Each of the Zen Villas is brand new and modern (construction was completed in July 2025), and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people: groups of friends or families can rent one or more units and spend a lovely vacation close to their loved ones.
Guests of each of the 4 villas have at their disposal: private garden; private pool (10 x 4 meters; depth: 1,4 meters); children’s pool (4 x 3 meters; depth 0,4 meters); 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; air conditioning; barbecue; Wifi internet.

Distances: shops of all kinds 2 km away; beach 3 km away; Georgioupoli (beach and shops of all kinds) 3 km; Rethimno 20 km; Lake Kournas 5 km; Chania 40 km; Chania airport 50 km; Heraklion 100 km; Knossos Palace 100 km.

We really enjoyed the Villa, as we have been the first renters! :) The house is absolutely awesome, great interior design and highly comfortable. The pool is quite long and has a shallow pool for Little Kids, which is amazing. And we had Great contact with Nikos, who cared for us so well and answered all of our questions very carefully and quickly. Only points were that there was something up with the water pressure in the showers (but it is possible that this had something to do with the water pipes in the area) and the kitchen equipment could have been a bit better, but Nikos said that they will buy more gadgets and equipment soon. Last thing- there is a small street in Front of the House where Young People sometimes drive along quite loud with their motorbikes, but all in all, the location is amazing- quite but though very close to Lake Kournas and Georgioupoli by car. Dream house!

We just came back from an amazing 7 days at Villa Zen Hera, our host was amazing from the get go, sent us a pin once arriving at the hire car as we didn’t have sat nav. We had a long drive from the airport which meant later check in, this was outside of the check in hours, then went above and beyond by assisting us to drive to a local taverna for some food. The Villa is stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice, you can see the sea from one side and the mountains from the other. 5 minutes to the local supermarket by car, restaurants and bakery close by. 10 minute drive to lake Kournas where you can hire pedalo and go turtle spotting. Amenities are incredible. Everything you could possibly need! Hairdryers in every room with attachments, hotel style slippers, coffee machine with pods and loads more. Would highly recommend and hoping to return some time in the future ????

Très belle villa finie récemment et piscine très agréable. La villa est bien située par contre nécessite une voiture. Nous n’avons pas pu utiliser les 3 salles de bain et une seule était vraiment fonctionnelle à cause d’un problème d’air dans une canalisation qui fait que les 2 salles de bain a l’étage n’avait pas de pression. Le propriétaire a été réactif pour nous expliquer. Il nous a proposé de nous offrir un tour de sport aquatique pour compenser mais à chaque fois que je l’appelais son site était fermé..Donc je suis un peu déçu de cela même si je comprends que c’est indépendant de sa volonté. Après, une fois que cela sera réparé, la maison est très bien avec tout le confort et la piscine comme l’extérieur sont aussi très bien.
