Lovely garden and private grounds with a creek running through the property, the house was kept cool with air conditioning, the beds comfortable and a charming loft for my son to have his own space (something hotels these days do not offer). The owner was responsive and thoughtful and the friendly neighborhood cat was an added bonus and free entertainment.

The location was great - close to town yet still secluded. We loved the private deck and hot tub! The yard was amazing with the little creek and pond, we saw so much wildlife just at the property! The room was perfect for us as a couple on our honeymoon. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

We loved being more in the country, we didn’t realize the property was so large, it was a very happy surprise. The cabin was comfortable, had everything we needed, and very close to town. Our favorite soda was just down the street. Quite, peaceful, would stay here again in a heartbeat. I almost don’t want to review so others don’t find this hidden gem!

Lovely setting; quiet, peaceful, and good location. The bed was comfortable, AC was great, and shower was hot. Did not like the dim lighting in the bathroom. Requested help with the toaster oven because it didn't work on day 2 morning but nothing was done.

We really enjoyed our stay but there were some issues with functionality of some of the amenities and we didn’t get a response when we reported that the toaster oven was not working. The grill was also not working. We didn’t let those things deter us from enjoying our stay. The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor deck area is incredible for just relaxing in the mornings and evenings. The air conditioning functioned well and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend to a friend with the awareness that not everything will be perfect.

The location was not ideal. He would need a car. They mentioned restaurants were within walking distance, which was not true. The hot tub did not work. There was no furniture inside. They moved it all outside which they should’ve moved inside when a new tenant arrived. The place wasn’t clean. I would not recommend staying there

I work as a dentist in my private clinic in La Fortuna downtown, I got the property on 2018 and decided to make it special for couples and families with small children that would to enjoy nature, swim in a pristine river and relax. The cabin is located 10 minutes drive from La Fortuna downtown so you will be very close to all main attractions in Arenal Volcano area. I hired a local company to manage my cabin, their name is Home Vacations La Fortuna, they will help you to arrange Check In process and they have a lot of services that might be useful for your trip to La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.
