Thank you so much for your feedback! It's the best way for us at Bretton Woods Rentals to grow and improve. We always strive to meet the expectations of our customers, and feel terrible that this unit did not meet yours. However, expectations must also be based upon what is presented in the listing and booking process. The decor, furnishings and amenities are shown accurately in the photos and description. This is an economy unit, so it's not going to have the same feel as one of our more luxurious units. It's priced appropriately for the location, features and amenities of the unit. The "Christmas" decor is part of the style of this unit (and honestly not uncommon up here in the mountains). There are snowmen and snowy landscapes, and while that may feel out of place in July, one has to keep in mind that this is a ski condo at a ski resort. Regarding cleanliness, the unit had been cleaned just two days prior after multiple guests who were satisfied with the appearance and cleanliness of the unit and we are always taking care of it, so we found that a bit surprising. However, we have learned from this review that we need to do a better job of checking light bulbs as we are always in the unit during the daytime and guests are not always prompt to contact us when light bulbs are out. That said, we are always a quick phone call away, and we would have been there within minutes to replace the light bulbs had we known that some were out! As always, we will take any and all feedback and work to improve in all areas highlighted by this review. And we appreciate the time people take to share their experience with us, as Kristin has.
