We spent four rainy, windy days on our first trip to Nantucket Fortunately, we got to spend more time in Greg's historic and surprisingly spacious home. A Plus are the appropriately modernized bathrooms and kitchen, although we didn't use the great stove, having opted to do all our dining at Nantucket's mostly outrageously expensive restaurants. This expanded Cape Cod styled home is furnished in a typical and comfortable Nantucket style. The beds are very comfortable (Rave reviews for the Master Bedroom mattress.) The private yard area with umbrella table and outdoor shower are also outstanding features that we didn't get to use. I recommend that you ignore the "Karen" comments below concerning the ceiling heights, particularly in the upstairs bathroom. The first floor ceilings are higher than the conventional height, except in the rear laundry area, but what's the problem? Staying here, You become part of the historic past of this typical Cape Cod historic home and hopefully you will appreciate the past and the legends of islanders that are part of this home's personality. Alas, we didn't encounter any ghostly presence! We shall return to this charming island and home.
