Beautiful, quite neighborhood provides a great get away from everyday life. Bring your boat or fish right of your own private dock, only minutes from the beach, Cold Pass and San Luis Pass.
The area is well equipped for boating and other water activities. Many guests like to rent golf carts for extra mobility through the neighborhood and on the beach. 2 car parking is available at the home. Public beach parking is available at the beach entrance.

We had a great time fishing and beaching this week. The house was sufficient for our family of 5. Bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed. The deck was great in the morning and evening. Our only complaint is the washer is VERY noisy and just a load of towels shook the whole house. It’s located in the master so we had to turn it off at night bc it kept us awake.

Anchors Away was perfect for our short getaway for NYE, the home was super cozy, clean and has all the essentials!Location is perfect, we love this neighborhood and have family there so this rental was perfect!

A/C worked great! Nice kitchen and appliances. Spacious. Did have some issues, however. Fire ants in the kitchen, bathroom and dock. Tub stopper did not work. No vent in bathroom. Only one garbage bag.

Thanks Anna for your stay and comments. I am making sure that the cleaner leaves plenty of garbage bags, replacing the leaky tub drain and exterminating the ants inside which have been coming inside in search of water. I can aggressively exterminate the ones on the dock of which I was not aware - so thanks again. I realize the bathroom needs a vent and am working on that.

Everything about the house, host,location was wonderful. My husband and I came down for a fishing trip. Stayed one week and decided to stay an extra day. Had a great time. The house was so comfortable inside and out! Great fish cleaning station and dock to keep our boat in the water. We look forward to many returns!

Had an absolutely fantastic time here. Caught lots of fish in the canal using live shrimp. It was perfectly located, nice quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Close to the bait shop at Bluewater RV Resort, and easy beach access right down the road. Wifi was great, cell reception was great. Cold AC, working kitchen, working plumbing/showers! Could not have asked for a better birthday weekend. Very happy to have stayed here and am already planning a time to come back. The back porch upstairs and downstairs was very roomy, and spent most of my time there. Book here to escape the hustle bustle of "in town" rentals. Canal is very quiet morning and night.

The house is adequate for what we needed. The only issue was the methane sewer gas was bad inside the house especially when the air conditioner came on. Our visit was enjoyable.

Perfect for a family getaway!

We loved this house! The location was perfect, and it had everything we needed to make this an enjoyable stay. Our family had a wonderful time fishing right from the property and across the street on the fishing dock. The fact the beach was a 4 minute drive across the street made it even better. Highly recommended!
