WONDERFUL!
We were given a warm and friendly welcome (plus a bottle of wine!) from Gerd and Stephanie who showed us round the apartment and handed us two sets of keys. The complex is very secure with a key fob for the entrance gates and the apartment has its own parking space.
The apartment is beautiful, very spacious and we were delighted to see how clean it is kept. It is well equipped with everything you could want, even an umbrella in case of rain! In our 4 weeks there, though, it didn't rain once. The TV is 'smart' and we were able to watch Netflix at any time as the internet connection is good. Very important to us...the beds are comfortable! The complex itself is very pretty and beautifully kept. We were there during the quieter time of February and March when it's advisable to have a car, particularly if you want to explore further. There's a nice café/bar with small shop just outside the complex but this doesn't open until Easter when everywhere is busier. It's a 20 minute walk, on the flat, from the complex to the bars, restaurants and a huge supermarket (Consume) in the area. However, the bus stop is not far out of the complex where buses run every hour to Mojacar Playa via all the stops.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and can't recommend it highly enough. Gerd and Stephanie are a lovely couple who will help you with anything you might need for your stay. We'll be back!
