It is a cute cozy rental in a decent location. There are 60 or so steps to get to the rental.
The pros:
The media set up was great. We Loved the big screen and it was very user friendly! The sofas were very comfortable and it was nicely decorated. The master bed and pillows were comfortable and there were plenty of nice blankets throughout. The guest room had plenty of space for the kids to sleep comfortably, and It was nice to have a tv in each of the rooms.
The areas needing improvement:
Cleanliness. When we arrived, the bath mats were not clean. They had not been washed and had an odor to them. I had to the clean them. Also the rugs in the main areas need cleaning and feel/ smell a bit dingy. When I went to take a shower for the first time, I found a used, dirty wash rag left inside the tub, which I had to remove. The rain shower head fixture in the bathroom, needs to be fixed or replaced. It is very loose and squirts water out of the joints. It looks like it had been siliconed a few times to try to fix it, but it is not working and needs to be properly fixed. It would be better not to use a rain shower head since the fixture is so low already and can’t be adjusted. Even some of my kids had issues fitting under the head and had to squat down to shower. A regular shower head like in the master bathroom would work better. The door knob to the master bedroom needs to be fixed. When closed, it locks by itself and will not open even from the inside. You have to use a hanger or something to unjam the doorknob to get out every time. The coffee pot carafe had a crack in the bottom which, unfortunately, we found out when we tried to make coffee for the first time. The handle on the washer/dryer cabinet is loose and dangling and need to be screwed in. Overall, it is an ok rental, but there were too many things broken. We wouldn’t rent the treehouse again, with these issues, especially at this price point.
