We enjoyed our stay overall, mainly because the location is excellent. It’s literally about a 5-minute walk to the beach in Siesta Key, which was very convenient. That said, the condo itself feels extremely outdated, and it seems like very little has been modernized over the years. The bathrooms and toilets are noticeably old, the shower water pressure was on the weaker side, and the sliding balcony door appeared very old and was missing a proper lock. We actually had to call maintenance so they could place a rod in the track to prevent the door from being opened from the outside. The kitchen appliances and finishes are also all noticeably outdated.Another issue was the lack of blackout curtains. Every room only had sheer curtains, so the rooms became very bright early in the morning. Blackout curtains seem like a simple and inexpensive upgrade that would make a big difference for guests. On the positive side, the WiFi worked very well throughout the stay, and the refrigerator cooled exceptionally well.Overall, the location was the highlight of the property, but the condo itself could benefit significantly from some much-needed updates and basic improvements.
