Upon getting into the unit things were okay besides the floors being very sandy everywhere and also dirty in the bedrooms that made your feet dirty which was no big deal, but I communicated that to Robin right away and she said she would address that with her cleaning staff. All was fine until check out day. We stripped the beds like you are supposed to and underneath many pillows and the master bedroom, which was the only bed without a mattress pad was really disgusting stains! The furniture, especially in the bedrooms is old and worn. There is no dresser in the master bedroom. We only used the washer once. Other than that the door to it was closed. Hours after check out I got a text from Robin with some pictures of the washer door cracked asking me how it happened. We were driving all the way back to Michigan and I was using my phone GPS, so I waited to respond until we stopped for gas, and by we I mean me, my 71 year old mother, my 22 year old son, his fiance, and my 18 year old son and his girlfriend, so no crazy kids. This was my response verbatim, We only used it once to do a load of your towels and did not notice it being like that at all. If we did something to your place I would've told you right away. I'm a disabled army vet and I own up to stuff I do, but I was extremely careful when I did that load. Then Robin said, I don't know what to say. It wasn't like that before you got there. My maid had washed the rugs before you got there and it wasn't broken. I wanted to let you know that I will be filing a claim with Vrbo. Then I responded, Well you do what you have to, but you should also look into your cleaners. When we stripped the beds before we left there was hair and dirt in between the top sheet and top blankets that were obviously not from us, also the master bedroom did not have a mattress pad and when I took off the bottom sheet and saw the mattress right below it I was mortified at all the nasty stains I was sleeping on. Same with some of the pillows. I guess lesson learned I will take pics of all appliances before I leave from now on. I have 5 adults who can attest that the washer was not like that. Then instead of communicating back, today I find a message from vbro that I'm getting a $300 charge and a message on there from Robin saying I was nasty to her and could there be a way to not let me write a review. It won't let me finish it's a mystery that needed to be worked through more. Wind or cleaners?but I was not nasty to her
