WONDERFUL! Centrally located, clean, comfy, cute, well-stocked!
The owner was wonderful to work with. He was super responsive to emails and texts and extended his help with anything we might need during our stay. He proactively offered us a late check out. Thank you! The house sits in a more industrial/business area, however, don't let that deter you from renting here. The house was 5 minutes from the airport and from the KY Expo Center, and about 10 minutes to downtown Louisville. It was quiet and safe. The house is CUTE! They added so many nice touches to the renovation, and personal touches to welcome their guests (like having music playing upon arrival, a welcome basket with snacks and lots of K-cups for the Keurig, and a bathroom basket with some essential toiletries if anyone needed a toothbrush, etc. and even a white noise machine if you'd like to fall asleep to a thunderstorm or birds chirping) Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. Oh, and the beds ... we LOVED the beds. The owner shared the mattress information with us so we could get one of our own for home. They had a queen air mattress available at this home which was a welcome surprise. I have rented numerous times with VRBO, but this has been one of my favorite places and most helpful owners. If you are considering staying in Louisville, forget the hotels. Rent this home for less, spread out, relax, and enjoy everything that the area has to offer. They also have a larger 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home that sleeps 10 nearby so be sure to ask him about that if you need a bit more space. We will definitely be returning someday to stay here and hit the Bourbon trail! Thanks, John for all of your help and hospitality :)
