Our Thanksgiving week stay was perfect for our group of 12! Jane was an amazing host, and the house was more than adequately equipped to prepare meals and enjoy some great scenery and early-season skiing! The space is very well laid out, with plenty of room to spread out and gather for games and relaxation. Even with a slow start to the ski season at Breckenridge, we were able to access trails so easily, and the location couldn't be more perfect. We will return for sure!

Dreams can come true!

We wanted to find a place where our entire family (17 in all) could gather and celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We chose Breckenridge and then found Jane's Timbers Lodge. It was a perfect fit. Thank you Jane for your attention to detail and great communication. We will be sharing memories of our stay for years to come.

Family Getaway Colorado

We have gathered with our 2 families in Colorado several times in the past 12 years this property was the best we have ever stayed in. It was appointed with anything and everything we could possibly need. We used all the sleeping areas and our entire group of 17 were more than comfortable. We felt like we were at home for sure. The town of Breckenridge and the resort were at our fingertips. Thank you Jane for your hospitality and the use of your home. It is deeply appreciated by all of us.

Absolutely perfect!

The house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed. Ski in/ski out was great. Our host, Jane, was fabulous. So communicative and friendly. We had a wonderful family vacation hitting the weather and snow perfectly!

Wonderful Home, Fantastic Host, Incredible Location!

This home and host provided an incredible ski vacation for my family! We were all so happy to spend a thoroughly enjoyable week in this property. The house, although large enough for several families, felt cozy and comfortable, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. The bedrooms/bathrooms were very comfortable and provided privacy and separation when desired. The entire house was stocked with everything needed to enjoy a very comfortable stay. The location was phenomenal for those of us who were skiers - literally steps from the base of Peak 8 in Breckenridge. It was a short walk to access the gondola to get to Peak 7, as well as into downtown Breckenridge. The views of the surrounding mountains throughout the house were absolutely beautiful. The reservation process, as well as the check-in procedures, were very straightforward and simple. The accompanying packet of information related to the property, things to do in Breckenridge, places to eat, and general information was the most comprehensive that I have ever seen and extremely helpful during our stay.Jane, the host, was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I look forward to many return trips to this property with my family!

Outstanding house, superb host!

This property had everything we could have possibly wanted for our trip out west. Ample number of bedrooms, immaculately maintained. But perhaps the best part was how attentive our host, Jane was to our every need. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience from check-in to check-out! There was even a hot meal awaiting us when we walked into the kitchen on our first day! Many thanks, Jane. We are already talking about returning this winter/spring for a Breckenridge ski trip.....

Family vacation

Family vacation we do every other year. Three kids and their young family’s 19 in all, I believe. The place was great. Enough room for all, location great. Very well stocked and represent led. Would recommend to anyone! Very nice and Clean!!!

Summer in Breck

Our large family (18 total) need a large place to house all of us for our annual get togethers. This house fit the bill. The owner/property manager couldn’t have been easier or more accommodating to work with. The house was fully stocked with towels supplies dishes, baby items etc. The upstairs is a little confusing as 2 staircases for an upstairs that doesn’t connect but not a real problem. The basement level was a little musty which may be due to carpet. Hot tub was great for our group along with 2 bbq grills. The documentation for things to do and welcome soup from owner made us feel very welcome. We had an amazing time.

Perfect house for a family vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and comfortable for our three generation group of 15, it was generously supplied with quality linens and dishes and had every possible kitchen need covered. The double appliances made it easy to cook for a large group. The outdoor space was lovely for sitting on the large patio. The children had lots of space to run and explore in the surrounding woods and had fun making their own home in the wooden teepee. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. Jane and Tom were immediately responsive if when we had a need or a question. I would highly recommend this property!

Amazing home for our large group

Jane’s Timber Lodge was an incredible place to call home for the week for our group of 16. The ski in/ski out was perfection and truly made our ski trip as easy and enjoyable as possible. With 10 adults and 6 young kids, there was plenty of rooms, beds, space to play. The amenities were over the top even with a warm meal awaiting our arrival the first day. We are already looking into dates to come back!

Family reunion ski trip

Gorgeous home. Perfect location for ski in, ski out. Large home to accommodate multiple families with ability to spread out. Owner available for any issues. Big kitchen with all essentials, including two dishwashers. Lots of seating space. Lots of nice bathrooms & soft towels. Pillows could be better tho. We had one of the best vacations ever.

Great stay, excellent host, right next to the mountain

Highly recommended. Jane is an excellent host, the house is as-advertised and the location near the mountain cannot be beat. This house is especially well suited for large groups as there are a variety of bedroom configurations and ample common spaces to be together, a little bit together, or some quiet time alone. We had three families all with small kids, and the ease of getting to Peak 8 lifts and ski school was a major value of this house.

Amazing spaces to enjoy family

We had a family reunion with kids and grandkids for five wonderful days. The house is located in a beautiful location and so close to the activities on the mountain!

Exactly what we needed

This house was perfect for our family vacation. All seventeen of us fit nicely in this house. Lots of sleeping options and bathrooms. Jane was so attentive and quick to respond to anything! Loved the location. I would highly recommend. Just as an FYI, the only thing I would mention is that there isn’t much of a view (but the trees around the house do help with privacy!) and no air conditioning (not that many in this area have that…). It cooled off in the evenings enough, but was a bit warm our first night.

This home was perfect for our family of 13. There was plenty of space for everyone to spend time together yet enough for everyone to have their own space. We would certainly use this home as a base for another week long stay in Breckenridge.

Born and raised in the Pittsburgh Area of Pennsylvania; I moved to Breckenridge, Colorado to start 'Jane's Lodges' with my Dad.
Jane's Lodges is in it's 33rd Year in Breckenridge.

My Dad and I purchased this home in 1997... It was a small structure with an incredible LOCATION. The idea was to create a large addition designed specifically to cater to the Guest looking for the perfect Mountain Vacation Residence. In 2002 we added 5900 square feet to create what we call The Timbers Lodge.
It has quickly become our most popular home as it caters well to larger parties......Friend and Family Reunions, Corporate Retreats, World-class Athletes have all been hosted here!
