First I want to say, this home is beautiful. It’s in a great location, it’s updated in every way and was a pleasure to stay in. I chose this house for several reasons. My father is handicapped and we needed a master on the first floor with a shower that was easy enough to get into. Secondly, because I have kids and they wanted to swim so bad, and we are from New York.
I paid to have the pool and spa heated in advance. I saw all the other listings state pool problems, so I reached out the day before we arrived and asked for them to check and make sure the pool will be heated. We especially wanted it for the second day we would be there which was to be the warmest day(we stayed in November). Low and behold, we arrived- no heat, and nothing working. I spent the first two days in the phone back and forth desperately trying to get it resolved the pool needed new pumps, and the spa was never checked and the remote wasn’t working. By the end of day 2 after dinner, everything was finally working. But, we missed our warmest day, and I felt bad for my kids.
We used the pool and spa the last days and enjoyed them but I don’t understand why Beach Properties of HHI and the pool company can’t figure this out. When you call the pool company out, please tell the company to actually check that everything works, don’t just turn it on and walk away.
