Great location but extremely dirty

Property listed as completely renovated but that’s not the case. Great location but place needs a thorough cleaning. Second bathroom is tiny. Larger individuals would not fit in shower. Makes a bathroom on an inside cruise ship look spacious

Dirty Dirty Dirty

Dirty, overrated. The unit was not cleaned when we arrived…. Here is what we found. 1. The garbages were not emptied. 2. The floor was not vacuumed or swept. 3. The hamper was filled to the brim with used towels and bedding. 4. The bedding was not changed. There were napkins inside the sheets in one of the beds. 5. We had to wash and change the bedding and found a urine stained mattress pad underneath. 6. There were used mugs and spoons on the counter in the kitchen. 7. Random towels in the washer and dryer. 8. Both vacuums did not work- instead they shot out dust. 9. The vents appeared clogged and dirty. 10. The pillows on the pull out couch are stained. 11. We had to purchase our own clean (not brown) pillows at Walmart-Mart. 12. The dirt and amount of dust under the couches and beds were disgusting. 13. We cleaned the unit and changed the bedding, but this unit needs a thorough cleaning, even the walls in the bedrooms were dirty. 14. The glass window in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. 15. The windows were filthy. 16. Black hair was left in showers/ tub. 17. Bathrooms are small. 18. Floors need to be steamed and waxed. 19. Children’s wagon was dirty and broken. Unable to use. We will not be staying at this place again. Although the decor was pretty, we were not satisfied. The property manager was nice and tried to be helpful.

nice stay

Overall it was a nice stay. The location was great as it was close to the beach. Not really walkable to shops, restaurants, etc. Place was fine. Definitely a bit outdated. Bathrooms super tiny which was a challenge. Would have appreciated a few more hand towels and washcloths in the bathrooms. Also there were only 3 coffee mugs which was so very odd to me. We had 4 people so had to go out to buy a mug. Management needs to do a better job with cleaning windows. And the window in the master was actually cracked and duct taped together.

3 night stay

Honestly, for the price you can’t complain but here are just some of the facts. The location itself is close to basically everything. It is across a street to the beach. Maybe an 8 min walk. There is a wagon, some beach chairs, a cooler and a boogie board available. It was clean. It’s a little beat up but it’s a rental property at the beach so, some of that is to be expected. The master bed was fine comfort wise. No wine opener or beach towels so bring your own. VERY close to Coligny Shopping and about 10ish min to Salty Dogs (Ps make reservations or get there wayyyyy early to avoid and hour and half wait). Really nothing was more than about 10 min and we did quite a bit around the island. The back patio at the place was ok, everything is a little beat up. No umbrella. Grill available. Not much air movement when you sit out there bc it’s facing inside the complex. Was quite humid. Bring bug spray. 2 bathrooms, one is TINY. The master is a little better. Overall it worked fine for our party.

Recommendations

The comments regarding cleanliness: master bath tub dirty; coffee maker filthy; our feet were dirty after walking on floors. comments on extras that would have been a low investment for big customer satisfaction, 1 roll of paper towels, at least 2 laundry pods, a fresh unopened dish sponge; a few beach towels and a few baggies. Salt and sugar should be stored in fridge. It was almost solid. Nice to have the worn beach gear. Generally, I would stay again but know what I was getting.
