Dishonest and terrible communication.
Three units in one building. A large family was in the unit above and beside me with children and adults walking/running/yelling back and forth along with running above my unit over the balcony. The A/C unit in the bedroom was very loud and not cooling the unit because the heater was putting out heat.We opened windows but the family was running/yelling back and forth leaving us with zero privacy. We closed all the windows/blinds to have privacy but made that room extremely claustrophobic. I kindly contacted property manager to work something out and no response. I tried calling,texting,emailing for hours and received zero communication. We decided to leave since no contact made me extremely uneasy. The next day we tried to reach out multiple times with no answer, then lunch time they sent a message that they reached out to owners and my refund was denied since “you didn’t try communicating with us”. I contacted vrbo and they said they couldn’t do anything but would send an email to the owner, the owner never contacted me. I never once heard from a person, the only contact was brief through email saying they didn’t hear from me. It’s unfortunate that this rental took advantage of me and made this about payment instead of the well being of their renters. Please Don’t take a chance with this rental, they will say “you never tried communicating with us” like these other reviews listed. I should have followed other reviews but took a chance, and they kept my whole payment.
