My husband and I feel very strongly positive about our 2 week stay in BBH at Wendy’s. The rooms were spotless and spacious. The location is great for touring the areas we wished to visit. Being on the lake was a beautiful spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Wendy's rental. The property is in a private and peaceful location with a stunning view of the lake. We especially enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs, watching the sun set every evening. The interior was comfortable, spotless and well equipped. Wendy was a great host and communication was excellent. We're looking forward to visiting again soon!

This place was the definition of relaxation! The access to West Harbor "Pond" (it's huge -- more like a lake!) was unbeatable! We were able to use the provided kayaks to explore the little islands in the water and to come really close to a pair of loons!

Comfortable, well furnished and very clean home in beautiful, private location 5 minutes from Boothbay Harbor with lovely view of lake. We had time to relax and rejuvenate and take in nature. Excellent communication with hosts.

Amazing home on a beautiful lake and near so many hiking trails and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Only wish we could have stayed longer. The Hosts are wonderful and gave us our privacy but easily accessible if needed.

Wonderful quiet setting over looking the lake.The rental is on a dead end road with virtually no traffic and made it feel very secluded. Patio seating for coffee in the morning right outside your door. Fire pit and seating down by the lake. We really couldn’t think of anything that this rental doesn’t have.and you are only about 5 minutes from the harbor area. A bald eagle that came by a couple of times.What a treat! We will return.

Everything was wonderful! Beautiful location and accommodations were fantastic. Stayed through a snow storm and there no issues at all. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Our time at this Boothbay Harbor VRBO was truly wonderful. From the first messages with the host to the clear directions on arrival, everything felt smooth and welcoming. The property is in an ideal location—quiet, scenic, and only a few minutes from town.Inside, the unit was spotless and comfortable, with every detail thought through. We appreciated how easy it was to settle in. Outdoors, the waterfront area was a standout feature: a cozy firepit at sunset right by the water, kayaks available for exploring, and beautiful waterfowl drifting by throughout the day. The host was available if needed, but the place was so well prepared that we never had to ask for anything.It made for a short vacation that felt relaxing, refreshing, and memorable.

We’re really going to miss this fabulous apartment in magical Boothbay Harbor. It’s very nicely appointed, and so comfortable and peaceful. Do not shy away from the property because it is below the owners’ vacation home. It’s super-well insulated and you wouldn’t know anyone was living above you. Even more important, having the owners there was a bonus. They went out of their way to help us have a fabulous holiday. Having the dock and the kayaks were also big pluses. We’ll definitely be back!

A very enjoyable vacation the house had everything we needed and very close to Boothbay Harbor

Clean, well equipped with everything your would need for a weeks stay. Overlook a lake beautiful view from the bedroom each morning. enjoyed our stay.

The property was exactly as advertised! The grounds were meticulously landscaped and opened up on the beautiful lawn leading down to the lake. Wendy, our host, met us as we unloaded our car, and showed us around the house, and into the charming apartment attached to their lovely home. We noticed the vaulted ceiling right away. The accommodations came with everything you would possibly need for a vacation home only five minutes from Boothbay harbor. The dock had plenty of kayaks and boats, and a ladder for swimming. We hosted a couple on Saturday night for dinner, and they also remarked that this was the nicest place that we have stayed in over the 10 years that we have visited the area.We highly recommend this place, and will be coming back next summer, if possible!

Lakefront Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved staying at this peaceful waterfront property. The interior was spacious, very clean and our host provided everything that we could possibly need. This property has such a homey feel to it. It is a real gem and a lovely home away from home.

A Perfect Place to Stay!

If you plan to visit Boothbay Harbor, you won't find a better place! The lakefront property is very close to town but offers a quiet location in a private neighborhood. Beautiful and bright interior in a natural setting. One of the best places I've stayed at. Great for kayaking and fishing too!
