First time to Outer Banks

The house is very large and spacious. It was located near the end of the street and the walk to the beach wasn't long. The home appeared to be in very good condition - each room was very comfortable.

Pretty good-needs updating

the house was big, so that was great, and also the walk to the beach was fantastic. The hot tub and pool were also nice. The house just needed a lot of updates. All the TVs were broke, the backlight didn't work on half the screen on 3 of the TVs. The dishwasher was broke (they replaced it with a new one 2 days before we checked out). All the kitchen pans and cooking things were old. Most of the plastic outdoor chairs were broke. It was still a good trip, but i wouldn't stay here again without some updates.

Never again.

Just OK. It should have been clearly noted that this property was 25 miles from anything. Nothing in the vicinity was open. A few small places. I realize it's "off season", but c'mon! No toilet paper, no paper towels, I admittedly made an error and ordered EIGHT king bed sheets sets....there were 3 of us staying there, you'd have thought someone would have questioned this!? And I was told NO REFUND. Needless to say I will never rent a Surf & Sound property again.

The views of the ocean and the sound from Oceanview Hatteras #921 are among the very best on Hatteras Island. Please know we are always eager to help with any concern you might have. The home is just 1.3 miles from Red & White’s Village Market which is always stocked with paper towels and toilet paper. We are proud to offer the best selection of premier vacation homes on Hatteras Island. If you do decide to give the area another try, we would love to suggest some wonderful homes in the village of Avon, home to our Food Lion grocery store and the largest concentration of year-round restaurants. -Your friends at Surf or Sound Realty

Needs a Deep Clean

The home was nice and spacious. It worked out well for our group, with plenty of room to accommodate all 11 of us. Close to the beach. The only downside of this property was the cleanliness. We had to spend the first couple of hours cleaning. This house needs a few clean. We addressed the issues with the management and they took care of other issues we had. Overall a great stay.
