Perfect Beach Getaway

We loved our stay in Salvo! Nice quiet area. Absolutely stunning beaches. This house was perfect for our 2 families. Food Lion is just 15 mins away. Get dinner at Waterman's.

Simply Heaven

This property is better than the photos. Entire experience was joyful, and really, heavenly. We had a blissful stay and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stress-free vacation. There is nothing that could have been better! Treat yourself!!!

Beautiful and airy!

This property is beautiful!! Great common space... great views of the ocean. Bedrooms were very nice - mattresses super comfortable. My only criticisms would be that the bathrooms could have been cleaner - I should have called Surf or Sound right away to address. Also, it's a brand new listing and there is just not enough kitchen items... like platters, baking pans etc. If you need something in particular besides the obvious (silverware, glasses, plates) make sure you bring it. Otherwise, this house is comfortable and beautiful...I would definitely recommend this house.

Easy beach access

The house was bright, open and airy with lots of windows and had several decks to relax on. There was a boardwalk beach access that was only a 5 minute walk. The pool and house looked like new and were well maintained. I would definitely return. Loved sitting on the top deck to watch the sun rise.

Relaxing vacation

Over all a great house. A short walk to the beach, the sound access was only about a mile away. Neighbors were far enough away you couldn’t hear them. The house was nicely furnished and a well supplied kitchen, we brought our own knives as usually rental kitchen supplies are horrible but the supplied knives and utensils worked great. Every room had access to a deck (except the kids room with bunk beds), all were connected to bathrooms. Lines and towels were provided. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed playing in it. My only suggestions would be to help limit sand; put a hose somewhere, there is a shower but it doesn’t do a good job of washing sand off your feet due to very low water pressure; and put some sort of floor mat by the entry door. We normally stay farther north but would definitely come back to Stairway to Heaven again.

Great vacation house

Overall impression of the house is great. House is located just a short walk to the beach. House easily accommodated our family of 9 with room to spare. The layout was well done. The private pool was also very nice and just the right size. The only recommendation would be to upgrade the beds and simplify the TV selection. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
