Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Leila. We’re glad you enjoyed the condo overall, but we’re sorry the mattress affected your comfort and contributed to a difficult week. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the artificial tree and the dust and allergy concerns it caused. We’ll share both of these comments with the appropriate team for review and consideration. Thank you for choosing Surf or Sound Realty, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a more comfortable experience in the future.

Mindy, thank you for leaving us a 5-star review! We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at Top Notch. See you again soon at the beach! -Your friends at Surf or Sound Realty

Hi Jen, Thank you for your 5-star review of your stay with us this summer. We're thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again next year!

Crystal, we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at Top Notch. Feedback like this really makes our day. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Island again soon!

Thank you, Stace, for your wonderful compliments for Top Notch! It is a beautifully appointed unit and we are thrilled to hear that you and your family appreciated all of the owners’ attention to upgrades and detail and that you considered the property ”perfect”. Please know that we are proud to have worked tirelessly throughout the unprecedented global COVID-19 pandemic to find appropriate resolutions for 100% of parties affected by the Dare County road closures. Our records show that a technician from our HVAC service provider responded in a timely fashion on the day that the issue was reported (Sunday) and the file notes that the guests were appreciative. Please also know that the widespread labor shortages have affected us all and that we are working hard to recruit additional help as we, at times, experience call volumes that exceed our ability to answer them all in real time. Our hardworking teams often stay late, after hours, to listen to and respond to every call we receive each day. Because you did not give us give us an opportunity to address the second issue on Thursday, our carpet cleaning crew discovered the outage on Saturday after your scheduled check out. The minor wiring issue was resolved quickly that day, and the unit has not experienced HVAC outages for the remainder of the season. We are dismayed to hear that you found your vacation to be such a disappointment. On behalf of everyone here, we all hope that – with some time – you might find a way to grant us another opportunity to impress and delight you in the way that all of our teams are confident that we can. We also hope that you will consider amending this review of an otherwise wonderful property so that others might find it here on Vrbo and enjoy it.

Melanie, thank you for the 5-star review! Nestled in Resort Rodanthe, an oceanfront condominium, Top Notch takes beachy bliss up a notch with amenities such as a resort pool and boardwalk. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and cannot wait to serve you again on your next Hatteras Island Visit! -Your friends at Surf or Sound
