Wonderful Vacation

The house was just as pictured and perfect for my family vacation. Plenty of large and comfortable common spaces and the bedrooms were great sizes too. It was a very short walk to a beautiful beach and there's a great playground a 5 min walk away that my 3 year old loved. Would absolutely recommend this home to everyone.

Highly Recommend

This home is perfect for a family vacation on LBI. It's very clean, the kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked with cooking equipment, and the beds were comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and accommodating. The location is ideal for a family as it's in a quiet residential area just a short bike ride away from central Beach Haven. I would be happy to stay here again & highly recommend!

Clean, Spacious, and an Awesome Location!

Me and several friends stayed at this property for a short getaway to the beach. The house is clean, spacious, and has lovely accommodations for guests (like instructional booklets in each room, an email with a list of good places to eat from the owner, etc;). The house is in view of the beach and near a ton of restaurants and ice cream shops. We will absolutely be looking into going back!

I was fortunate to find this property! The house was perfect for our family getaway! It had everything in it that you could possibly need! Super comfortable and close to the beach! A nor’easter couldn’t keep us away!

The west absolutely horrible when we were there, winds over 50 mph and torrential rains! We made the best of it! House is beautiful, very organized and very comfortable. Highly recommend, although I would love to come next time in the summer time to take full advantage of what LBI has to offer

Great House

We all had a great time here - house is immacuately clean and has a great coastal vibe, close walk to the beach, owner was incredibly nice and very responsive to any questions we had. 2 nice size decks to hang out on after a day at the beach. And the ping pong table in the garage was a nice bonus. Would recommend for anyone looking to spend a week in Beach Haven

A great place for our family to stay

This was a great family vacation home with enough room for our family as well as fully equipped for cooking and relaxing. Beach gear was provided, and we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to return in the future!

BEAUTIFUL GETAWAY.

This beautiful home is situated in a wonderful part of Beach Haven. Close to the beach and bay. Quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes away from fantasy island and bay village and all attractions. Owner so nice to deal with. Overall a great week with family and friends. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay!

We really enjoyed our week long stay at LBHM! House was extremely clean upon arrival and modern in decor. Fully stocked (and more) kitchen & everything was labeled to keep things organized. The 2 balconies were great, along with the yard. We utilized the high end grill to cook several dinners. Since the weather wasn’t great, having the ping pong table kept us entertained. Great location - sub shop and ice cream parlor within 2 blocks & easy walk to the beach. Angel was a fantastic host from the booking process to checkout - we hope to stay here again in the future!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our stay was just perfect. House is beautifuly decorated and very organized, loved how everything was labeled so you’re not trying to figure out where something went back or what light is which. Just a few houses from the beach which was perfect with 2 little ones. They also enjoyed how close fantasy island was! Loved the keypad lock on front door so we didn’t have to worry about losing a key. Very easy to work with Angel the owner and response time was almost immediate. Thanks for a great family vacation everyone really enjoyed your lovely home!

Dirty. Close to beach.

We had to clean ALL the blankets and mattress covers when we arrived because they were filthy. Owner admitted they are only cleaned 4x a year - not after every stay. Not sanitary or acceptable. Bathrooms and common areas were also dirty. Carpet stained and smelled like wet dog. Didn’t expect to clean someone else’s house during my vacation. Owner was defensive and aggressively interrupting our time with questions about the cleanliness - though we weren’t asking her for anything/ just letting her know (with pictures). Her “solution” was to have us gone from the rental for hours so the cleaning crew could come back. We didn’t take her up on this “offer” as we had already lost time cleaning before we could even settle in. Yes, house close to beach. But beach equipment was not in good order (rusty umbrella), or inaccessible (chairs full of spiders). Rooms are VERY small. Two rooms are big enough for couples, but the other two are really only kids bedrooms. Fireplace NOT working until fall. Which should have been noted in listing. We were cold even after she turned on the heat. Would have been nice to use the fireplace for cold stormy evening. In sum, location great. House could have been good if it was clean. Host replies about condition were defensive rather than trying to make us happy after such an awful beginning.

Wonderful family vacation!!!

Everything about the trip was amazing! The house was clean and beautiful with everything you could possibly want. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We really felt as if we were home for the week. I only wish we could have stayed another week! It was a short walk to the beach, and with 2 kids that was a bonus. They had all the beach equipment you need which saved us from bringing our own. We had a fantastic time and can’t say enough about this rental. We’re already looking forward to next year! Thank you again for everything!

Owners were born and raised in the same town minutes away from each other with an overlapping circle of friends and although didn't know one another there, by ways of traveling the NorthEast for their individual jobs, met at work, got to know one another and fell in love in NYC. They've been inseparable since day one, got married some years later and decided that NYC was to be their home and is now making Beach Haven their new home away from home.

LBI is an amazing hidden gem because of its proximity to the Manhattan, its breathtaking beaches and quaint shops & restos. Le Beach House Montreuil is close to town as well as to the beach and we wanted a large enough home to have our many friends and very large extended family come over anytime and not feel cramped for space. We started our search high and low, from the Hamptons, then Long Island and then all the way down the shore to beautiful LBI and we found the jewel of the island, Beach Haven the Queen City, and we couldn't resist once we found this home so close to the Ocean! The bonus was that it has a fireplace so we can enjoy it in all seasons!! We hope that you appreciate the reasons why we chose Beach Haven and this beach house over the many others on the island!

The uniqueness of this home is that it's an 'upside down' house meaning the living space is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs. So the sunlight can be appreciated all the more because we spend most of our waking hours in the living room, the kitchen and the dining areas or balconies so it's a perfect way to always have the beautiful sunlight year round and keep the bedrooms cool in the summer months! We hope you love this as much as we do!
