Great resort and room!!

This resort was a great…lots to do and right on the beach! The room was fabulous. We had a fabulous view from our lanai on the 6th floor…we could see the whale activity and being up that high gave us a spectacular view of the property and ocean. The 3 bedroom/3 bathroom was the perfect size for our 7 people and the living/kitchen area gave us all a lot of room to hang out. I would definitely stay at this resort and room again.

The ultimate resort

Honua Kai has spacious rooms, great views, awesome pools, and a convenient outstanding restaurant (Dukes) on property.

Great property with amazing views! Brought our entire family and nephew to Maui and absolutely loved the condo that we choose. Pool system was outstanding and having Dukes a 2 minute walk from our condo was very helpful. Will absolutely come back!

Days in the Sun!

This is my second time staying at the Honua Kai Resort in Maui and it well exceeded my expectations. First of all, the location is prime. Just steps away from both the beach and the pool, your choice! We had perfect weather almost everyday. The amenities were great. Not to mention you are also just steps away from a great dining experience at Dukes for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The resort itself was clean, safe, and friendly staff makes this a must visit. Perfect for families or couples looking to get away! Will be back very soon and would highly recommend this resort!

Beautiful Views

Fantastic 3 bedroom condo for our group of 8 adults. We all enjoyed sitting on our lanai watching the action at the pools as well as whale watching. Location was great. Condo had high end appliances, seating for 8 around the table as well as in the living room. Great walking path. The only negative is that the water in front of the resort is full of coral and not the best for swimming.

The picture is real, the reviews are true!

If you have binoculars bring them. We bought a pair locally to watch the whales from the balcony -- and there were many!! The resort connects easily to the shops and restaurants of other resorts, making a car-free stay possible.OK, about the picture - the colors are more vibrant in reality, but the perspective is accurate. The overall building is massive, but the facilities did not feel crowded.

Great place- but kids in the pool at 6:30????

Use to love this place! Still great for people with young kids, but this is what it’s turned into...Maui’s Disneyland. Ugh. Likely won’t be back.

Maui Wowie!

We were looking for the perfect property where our 18 and 20 year olds could have fun as well as us two adults. This property had it all. Three pools, large “adult” pool, another with water falls and a water slide, and a lazy river pool. The beach was a short 2 min walk also. The unit was impeccably cleaned upon our arrival and was completely stocked with everything we needed to cook as well as a full closet of beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Duke’s restaurant, located on the property, was delicious. We will definitely return! Mahalo!

Hawaiian Paradise

We had an amazing time with our family at KBM Resorts: Honua Kai Hokulani HKH-603! From the moment we walked into the condo we were hit with the spectacular ocean view of Molokai and a delicious welcome gift! The condo has everything you need...a stocked kitchen, L'Occitane bath products, all the beach gear you need, even a cooler! The Lanai was so relaxing and we really enjoyed the Nana glass walls that opened to bring the outdoors in. KBM was also very helpful as we had some lightbulbs that were out in the kitchen and a primary bathroom shower handle which was loose. We called them and the sent a crew right over to do the repairs. Condo 603 was incredible and we had a very memorable trip!!

Location, Location, Location. The location and view were stunning. The resort and staff here were wonderful. Regarding the unit- some updating and a bit maintenance could help- Lighting in kitchen is dim, Overhead stovetop light missing, undercabinet lighting is dim or not operating Kitchen door hinges on loose Cooking utensils need a refresh Knives are incredibly dull Bar stools no longer have any cushion left in them. Some of outdoor chair cushions fabric has split. Lamp in one guest room inoperable Speaker system for music inoperable, remote batteries are corroded.

Not all rooms at Honua Kai can be said to meet the same expectations, but the 3 bedroom ocean view with KBM rentals was a wonderful experience. I would rent with KB rentals again. The experience was great all around. We will be back.

Large space, great view!

We always love staying in Kā'anapai and at the Honua Kai. The amenities at this complex are amazing. The larger condo helped so much with our 2 kids who need their space from each other t times. The view was so nice and we saw beautiful sunsets and lots of whales!

Spacious 3BR/Ba overlooking pool complex and beach. Beautiful interior and kitchen and huge walk out balcony with glass accordion doors and glass railing fronts to seamlessly watch Kaanapali, whales, and the entire property and even shielded us from rain. Nicest property on boardwalk. Exceeded all expectations.

Family trip

We had a fantastic time staying at Honua Kai Resort and Spa. The condo was beautiful and stocked with with all that you would need to cook, go to the beach, or the pool. The only thing you need to do is grab some food and drinks to stock the kitchen. I would highly recommend staying here and we would definitely come back again.

Super Cozy Spacious Condo with amazing sunset views

"This was our first experience renting a vacation condo and this condo was just amazing! We were so happy with our choice. The condo was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. We felt like we were at home. The condo was exceptionally clean and extremely well-stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. Evenings on the lanai were amazing to watch the breathtaking sunsets and have dinner. Would stay here again!" Walking to Whalers Village with access to the beach walk was an added plus.
