Cute and cozy

My husband and I stayed the weekend for our 10th anniversary. The house was perfect for us. Everything was provided as promised in the listing and the location is absolutely perfect. You do have road noise, so I just turned on some white noise to sleep. Very close to Forsyth Park and so walkable. We even walked back in the evening from the riverfront - maybe a 30 minute walk, but very scenic and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Carraige house was a perfect, convenient location for my visit. It's proximity to Forsyth Park is ideal for Saturday and Sunday strolls. The bed is remarkably comfortable. The bathroom is clean and cute. The kitchen is dated but super clean and nostalgic. Overall, no complaints at all. Grateful to have stayed there for three nights.

OUTSTANDING, BEST LOCATION AND QUIET

Glorious! Quiet and best location to all of Savanah. Huge 1 bedroom, tastefully decorated and bed super comfy with high thread count sheets. Gorgeous bathroom freshly renovated, better than my own at home. A/C very powerful even though we only used once during the day. Big bang for the buck! Highly recommend. Best VRBO I have ever stayed in.

Nice little place, great location

Great little place for 3 day stay in Savannah. It is older of course but with charm. Used parking garage on Liberty but had no problem unloading our luggage on backside of the property. Would have been nice to have TV in bedroom but not a big deal. Would stay again.

Disappointed

Nice location within walking distance for most everything. Furnishing ie: rugs, furniture , lighting inadequate. Seemed like most of it disfiunctional and was hastily purchased at consignment. There’s a line btwn antiques and yard sale quality. No dishwasher, extremely limited counter space. Kitchen supplies were good and mattress comfy as well as shower..

Stay in Savannah

This place is just ok. The decor and furniture all need to be updated I feel it was nothing like the pictures they displayed. It was not what I expected. The location was great that’s about the only thing that this place has going for it.

Fantastic spot in Savannah!!!

We were only in Savannah for a few days on our way to the Florida Keys and this was such a wonderful little place!! The location was amazing and the walkable to everything!!! I highly recommend this spot!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is in an amazing location!! Walkable to everything and loved being close to Forsyth for the dogs. The apartment needs some updating but overall was a good stay. I would recommend new pillows, a functional / clean dresser to unpack clothing, and some shelving in the bathroom.

Pretty nice place

We loved the location and the apartment was really cute and had everything we needed... including lots of dog/cat hair and mess under the couch. Yes it was a nice place, but my allergies went crazy because of all the pet dander. We kept seeing stuff under the couch. When we actually got down on the floor and looked, there was so much dust, pet hair, and PILLS! No clue what the pills were as we did NOT move them. I think whoever they have to clean the property needs to be talked to. Other than feeling sick with my allergies, we had a good weekend!

Just steps away from the northern corner of the historic, gorgeous Forsyth Park. Around the block from Monterey Square with historic homes and a historic synagogue. On the free DOT bus route.

Charming and great location!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for us. We walked almost everywhere and loved the neighborhood shops and restaurants. Great access to the park and squares. It is a walk up a good staircase to access the unit. It is VERY noisy and VERY bright. Wish the unit had room darkening blinds or panels. The street noise is a lot during the night, and if people are walking by, you can hear every word of their conversation. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Mini getaway

The house is charming. It's the perfect size for two. The living room could use a little sprucing up. The sofa is a pullout, so it isn't very comfortable to sit on and watch TV and the pillows were dingy. The bedding was clean except for the covers on the shams. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked with towels and toilet paper. The location of the house was fine. I felt safe. The only tricky part was parking, but we found a spot to park for free and only had to move it once for the city sweeper. Nights were very noicy, but I don't think that could have been avoided. There were sirens, garbage trucks, sweeper trucks and loud pedestrians that sounded like they were right outside the window, even though the unit is up a flight of stairs.

Great Location but....

The location is perfect. However, It is located on a very busy and noisy street. The street lights and lights from adjoining properties shine very brightly into every room making it difficult to sleep. the Wifi does not work at all. I was kicked off my zoom call 3 times and had to resort to using my cell service.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I came into Savannah for a week to visit my daughter and change my "work from home" scenery. The location was perfect, right across the street from Forseyth and a close walk to everthing. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was updated and large. The cottage had everything I needed. Not sure of the comfort of the sofa bed, as I did not use it. No dishwasher, but not a problem for me. Owner lives in the front house and is super friendly and actually gave me a tour. I would recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and perfectly located place for a weekend, or longer.
